hi.. thanks for uploading the video.. its my favourate childhood movie.. i have finding the entire movie but with no luck... the video is some relief.. thanks
Man I ma so glad that I was able to figure out what this movie was.. It as baffled me for such a long time since I was only a kid. 34 years old now... God I just remembered bits and pieces, especially the carpet rides..
Any questions regarding Arabian Adventure. It would be a pleasure to answer as I along with my younger went through the whole process from auditioning for the part of Majeed, to filmimg the film in Pinewood Studios, to the premiere in Shaftsbury Avenue London, attended by the late princess Margaret. Thanks to.. Theydontlikeitupem for finding this and posting it on the web. Well done.
It was in a indian tv channel and bangladeshi tv channel. It was on air in the year 2002 or 2003. The story is like this... this devil wants to marry this one girl.. becaz the legend says any1 marry her will rule the world. Then this thief who steals from rich to help poor falls in love. Then the story goes on..... Plz tell me if u know anythinga abt it.
my mistake.. U are right i confused the characters.. It is Marcel Steiner, i remember him practising in rehersals with two sticks yo yoing a rubber stick between the two for the film.
Wow, you must have had some fun times on the set! Milo O Shea is indeed in this movie; he played the part of Khasim the cowardly sidekick, who pushes Majeed off the carpet. I really liked the performance of Puneet Sira in this movie, by the way. Did you yourself have any part in the movie, may I ask?
It really was great times. My younger brother Puneet Sira played the part of Majeed. My father Gurdial Sira was part of the rebel gang. I played a blink of eye bit,in John Ratzenburger gang as a strret boy juggler and ofcourse doubling for Majeeds character. Puneet by the way now directs movies in Bollywood.
I just checked on Puneet Sira on IMDB, there were no movies to prove that he's been directing bollywood movies. Either you are lying or he does low budget hindi movies. Anyways, i see no reason why you would want to lie about a 70s movie... but just thought i'd point that out.
No need to lie my friend. check google Puneet sira, first film he directed was I proud to be Indian, thereafter two are up for release Kissan and Jay Veeru.
Anyhow thanks for the effort you put in rearching.. Indian movies dont all come up in IMDB.
Thank You so very much for posting this. I was looking to see if anyone had. The arab thief in the purple tunic at the start is Marcel Steiner an old friend. He was also the mirror in The Secret Policemans Ball, and was Creator, manager, crew and principal cast of "The Smallest Theatre In The World", built in the sidecar of a Panther motorcycle.
We were one of the first people in our street to have a video recorder. I remember this was the first film I ever hired! Would love to see it all again!
