Thats not even close to what a superbike like this would do in a 1/4 mile. This run looks about spot on for what a sportbike would run. If this guy does not have a speedo healer on this bike you can figure about 10% slower than indicated due to factory inaccuracy. This is 100% mph not KPH. So check your own math bro.

The performance potential of this machine is unknown. It's known what a stock machine will do. At best 9.7 at 145, that's what magaazine tests have achieved. Average rider, 10.0 at 140. Go to drag times to see what real world times are.
First let me say i have Never rode that fast on anything so kudos to you but im an old man now (55) and i just started riding ( 110 is about it breaking in my new bike ) But it seemed to me he lost power or rolled off throttle in first gear at around the 10 second mark or about Yes ? is that normal for a power lag like that or missed shift ? but damn I knew these bikes where fast but not that fast ! @divrack I'm assuming he started in 2nd gear, that would cause the lag in the launch, but on street bikes im not sure, i ride a YZ250F (dirtbike) all i know is if i keep the throttle open and im in 2nd gear a launch on pavement will deffiently bring my front end up with my 130lb on the front.
also, the ZX12R has the capability of doing 160 mph in 3rd gear.... with 3 more gears to go...... no 10 can do that..... no 10 has the torgue of a 12 either....

no hes right... test for you, get a sat nav and watch the speed on it and the faster you go the more the speedo is wrong. I did it on the motorway doing 80mph on my speedo and the sat nav was showing 75pmh fact mate.
