@erictheviking871 shows u how the major musicx world sucks at gettiong people famous and distribution..i ahve botht heir albums on cassette (85 & 87)..Man, why they fizzled and why they did not blow up beyond what they were is puzzling..Not to talk of many who do not know em..Shucks, even Loose Ends who were more famous than em, many don't know of...Thats on them, whether peeps know them or not, their music RULES...52ND Street forvere.,.RIP Beverly, did not even know u passed..
There were several british Jams that got into the black clubs and radio especially in New York and Chicago before 52nd street. A little bit of Jazz by Nick Straker came out in 81, Starchild, Imagination, State of Grace (that's when we'll be free). But this was my jam. Thanks for the posting.
Oh s**t, I did'nt know Beverly died! I apoligize on the music video post bout calling her a terrible singer, but real talk, her voice was inferior to Diane.

I know that song for a decade, never knew it was 52nd street untill now.
This comes from the pre "children of the night" period, when UK Jazz funk was booming! This band made some classical soul/r&b music!
