  • I flew with Air New Zealand when I was 14 years old, on my way to visit my relatives in Wellington, which is the country's capital

  • @bubblegibubblegirl13 well aint you clever!!!

  • Air New Zealand is the best airline on the planet and they have the best everything

  • 2:35

  • catchy music

  • choice bro, sweet as!

  • This safety video remindes me when i was a little girl on my first time going on air new zealand :)

  • I love this video!!!

It just reminds me of going on holiday!!!!!

    It gets me all excited!!

I only can associate this video with good memories!!!

  • I like the music and the NZ accent the crew has.

  • new zealand rules!

  • Check out the latest safety video from Air New Zealand. Kinda like this one except it features Air NZ cabin crew and pilot delivering the safety instructions wearing nothing but body paint!

  • please hold on to the bar, and wait for the ride to come to a complete stop, thank you

  • Evenmore all 767-300s have the same safety features and the exit doors operate the same, the jackets are put on the same way. So why do airlines need to make it specific to their own planes when the order comes in it will be basically the same 767-300 on Air France as opposed to Air New Zeland right?

  • still, some airlines use different configurations for their planes, so there might be some slight differences, and anyway, its easier for the passenger when its airline specific (at least for me)

  • You are not aloud out the plane intill it has fully stoped

  • how would that life jacket save you from a fall of like 6,000 feet

  • It's not meant to, it's job is to keep you afloat in the water.

  • aha

"how would that life jacket save you from a fall of like 6,000 feet"

    fucking dumbass lol

someone doesn't pay attention to the inflight saftey...

  • Its not meant to, Its YOUR Job to make yourself float on the Water.

  • This is probably the better safety demo i've ever seen since it's short but straight to the point. Moreover, the music is really cool and the voice is pleasant to hear.

  • I loved flying Air New Zealand! :D

  • im going to perth on monday on ANZ b767-300, and for the love of bob marley, even if your flight doesnt go over water, what if you had to redirect over water and its not like they are gonna change the safety demo JUST COZ u aint flying over water, dimwits.

  • Smooth and straight to the point. Love it!

  • I love this safety demo !!

  • I love those footrests on ANZ!

  • no one actually watches these!! and whats even worse on the 767-300 they dont give u a life jacket inflation demo anymore!!! i was so sad that day... lol

  • maybe that route you're flying doesn't fly over sea/ocean?

  • nah it was almost entirely over the ocean

  • haha I read the comments and your sooo smart lol "maybe that route you're flying doesn't fly over sea/ocean?"

    I love flying with ANZ!!!!

  • Short and straight to the point. I like that.

Haven't seen the brace position shown on other safely videos. Have anyone else?

  • I have. On a Virgin Atlantic safety video. :)

Just type "virgin atlantic safety video" and click on the first one.

    Thanks!

  • yeaaa go our OCEANIC ACCENT !!!!! lol we know its hott !!!

  • So many memories of flights. How did get this???

  • i love that Oceanic accent!

  • Oceanic lol, not very many Fijian or tongans have that accent.

  • haha...Nice one. So true. Reckon this guys accent is about as neutral kiwi as it comes.

  • place your hands over your head and kiss your ass goodbye

  • These things used to scare me sensless... And still do now! No idea why, I used to do alot of long haul flying as a kid.

  • Ive never been on a plane in my life, and never really want to go on a comercil one, unless im the pilot, i do some piloting, but find being a passanger on a comercil one creepy, and these videos creep me out

  • If you did some flight training how have you never been on a plane?

  • nice..short and precise....soothing voice..and a cool airline...love you Jennifer..who is a cabin crew with ANZ

  • I like how these inflight safety videos seem to mirror the nation of the airline using them; I see this one as an example of being straight to the point, no messing about kind of attitude. Very concise and no fannying around - there is an airline's safety demo on youtube which is almost 20 mins - one could be half way to their destination (UK internal flight maybe) within that time.

  • Which airline, dappanah?

  • i like that this video is short and that it includes emergency procedures during take-off. the shorter and more specific the more likely the passenger is to continue watching the video

  • wow..very nice safety video.

I have never seen any other airlines

mentioned about brace position in case of

    emergency!

    Excellent job air newzealand.

  • what about singapore airlines and probaly a few others

  • If you fly within the US, that would explain why. The brace position is not typically included on US flights, as it is not required by FAA regulations. (Sorry if this comment is in the wrong place.)

  • One of the shortest safety video I've ever seen

  • hahah this is identical to the 737 one

  • This is filmed inside a 747

  • the music is cool ;)

  • I like this safety video. I've seen many which are boring and "unclean" looking (messy, not colourful, too much needless dialogue), but this one and the Air Canada one are excellent.

  • I agree that the girl with the jacket and boots is beautiful!

  • Great Video! Not better than Air France thought. Great voice, music. Air New Zealand has upgraded their uniforms (much, much better!). I like it how they say in the fasten-seat belt part "Return to your seat..." never heard this before.

  • Comment removed

  • this is not the current safety on air nz because i went on one of their 767s recently and the music has changed and they have added bits in

  • this is byfar, the only safety video i've seen that informs you about bracing for impact.

  • ano mario te da el mate? xD pa que subi esooo! wuajaj

  • Interesting. Has many similarities to another airline they once "owned" (cough). Very "cough" original.

  • Maybe because they produced the Air NZ and Ansett videos together at the same time to save costs? Its original.

  • No that's a 763!

  • i Think thats a 777.

  • "do up" the seatbelt!

  • If you look the row of seats netxt to the windows is 3 in a row. not 2 like it should be, 232. But Alot of saftey videos make thayt mistake. In the AWA video for the A320 was lookinfg at an A319 safety card.

  • Short, sweet, and to the point

  • nice

  • Nice!

  • Good Video

  • I would've used a more sophisticated word instead of 'do up the seatbelt' i wouldve used 'fasten the seatbelt'

  • Theres two at 2:46. Look, look!

  • excelent safety video!, very short and especiffic

  • i gotta funny story about Air New Zealand. I was flying to Samoa (on 1am flight) nonstop Honolulu-Upolu on ANZ and i remember the safty video being all in the Samoan Language, and when it was over the video shut off, and the plane began to take off. A friend of mine turned to be and said "and for all you english speaking people go to hell", The safty video was not at all in english. i never notice the video anyway when i fly, but i anyways thought that was funny!.

  • yes...yes this was extremely funnny.

  • I would have written a complaint to ANZ if the video wasn't in English at all. When was this flight?

Also, I would always pay attention to the video. When the Air France flight crashed in Toronto, people getting out tried to get their bags (!) despite the fact that the safety videos tell people to leave their bags behind.

  • Nice voice on that, good video :D

  • wee willy winky runs through the town, he done a wee and poo in his night gown

  • Is it very necessary to count the rows of seats to the emergency exits?

  • Yes it is, just in case the floor lighting fails, the cabin is full of smoke, and your nearest exit is an overwing exit (as opposed to a door).

  • Nah, just get there and its done! XD

  • KooLeSt sAfEtY ViD IvE EvA SeEn ive only seen the 737 and the a320 one for air nz in real life tho bt they're all simala....

  • I assume you have not checked Japan Airlines Safety video... try looking at it, is easy to find, also, Air France has Hollywood style safety demo, xD

  • Gee where did u get this from? I like the line "if you can reach the seat in front of you". These days with aircraft you seem to be in the brace position all the way to where you are going. Great video im home sick already.

  • Thanks to air nz, you arent in the brace position all the way to where you are going. On most of their aircraft anyway :)

  • I like the qantas video better.

  • your an idiot.

  • The girl in this video is hot !

  • Thats fantastic quality, I love air new zealands safety video short and snappy-however not as relaxing as singapore airlines or Malaysia Ailrines but still it is gr8

  • I like NZ accent, and good safety video!

  • Im a New Zealander so i dont really know what our accent sounds like because we all sound like that so to me thats normal!

I wish i could hear our accent!

  • Thanks for the comments !!!

  • Great background lounge-ish music, well thought-out and modern layout, not better than Air France's, and yet better than most safeties.

  • Groovy music

  • Where did you get such a good quality safety video? Are you able to get any safety videos from Air New Zealand which feature the new long haul interior like the 777 one?

  • What the hell is wrong with this woman and her elf shoes ???

  • I like her elf shoes!

  • Short and sweet safety video. I like it. And, I love the NZ accent! ptarr767, keep bringing us some quality safety videos!
