  • Richard the second seems to have been the best of English Kings. Very few kings pursued a policy of peace with foreign countries. Even today that type of policy is called "weak on national security."

    Yeah but as the video explains, he got killed for it. Richard II might have been a ruler more in line with today's views, but for the medieval period his less than tough stance was his end.

  • Terry Jones is one of the person I would most gladly have a dinner with... he's one of my heroes. History is so fun to learn, almost everything is made off and trying to actually piece what happened is amazingly interesting!
