M4s are fine if you customize the damn thing! You see so many people walking around at matches with stock KWA M4s. Buy a TALON ki or an SD kit or something!

Sry guys, i haven't been checking up on this, got kinda fed up with the idiots "bragging" about their real guns, but i see most of them have deleted their comments.

As i sold this kit quite a while ago, can't really comment on how it was constructed other then this vid, as it has been so long ago.

Can the flash hider be removed from the front outer barrel or is it one piece with it? Are the gaps/wedges on the flash hider the same on a M4/M16 flash hider? Can I use any M4/M16 QD Silencer to attach to it?

wrong again, buddy. i happen to own one of the newer 556's and it's as reliable as you could ever want. keep it clean, keep it lubed and she works just fine. look up your info somewhere other than wikipedia and worldguns, pal.

Well sure quality wise. Dude if it was a "Quality 551/552" then they would cost an arm and a leg to buy. The 556 is a accurate rifle, with a great design. Sure its not a 551 but its damn worth 1400 bucks.

Converting it really easy once you are familiar with how SIGs breakdown.

Yes, seeing a JG 552 is identically build as a TM 552, you could... you would need to replace the cilinder with a non ported one if you are planning to use a longer inner barrel.

don't get me wrong, the SiG 556 kcks ass, but why not just buy an M4. i mean it looks badass, you know, like a SiG/M4 cross, but i would have thought that since the real-steel 556 is a civilian export it would be less popular. i'm an airsoft SiG fanatic, and my bros keep tellin' me to get this, but i just thought it was kind of out of the way. how much does a conversion kit like this cost, anyway? i read somewhere that you got it from Redwolf, but i couldn't find it.

Because i already have a few "Armalite" weapons, with the man M16 magazines i have, the 556 was easy, no need to get different magazines.

they cost around 400USD, might not be on redwolf anymore, as these were a limited editionby GWS

The way the front of the GWS 556 kit attaches to the receiver is identical to how the front on the TM/JG 55Xs attaches.

i.e. you can swap all you like, i have the 552 front with the PROUD B&T RAS unit installed at the moment.

Got the kit from Redwolf in HK, Have a bunch of other guns, including custom built KAC SR16M4/M203 combo, Noveske N4, Wilson Combat TSG compact, Kimber TLE/RLII, Colt series 90 with engraved Tommy Franks slide, etc.

Shooting real guns doesn't always involve 'target shooting.' I find my REAL Sig 556 much more entertaining that a kid's gun.

Though it is recommended to switch the cylender to a non vented one when swapping for a longer inner barrel
