AND....i thought about the intro of the game, where there was a guy driving us around, so why not there be taxi missions? Surely the rough hostile terrains of Africa are no place for journalists or silly tourists or just the average traveler who's willing to pay or trade for a safe ride through the hot zone. Or Escort missions, like when we defended the barge, except not that insane. Leading a convoy with or without your buddies should be a lot of fun, I'm having Road Warrior flashes lol.

i have several hundred ideas (not exaggerating) of my own too, to make FC a lot more realistic and fun game

but the problem is that too many 'in game possibilities' will make FC 'heavy on the harddisk' and 'heavy on the RAM', restricting the number of potential players. but im sure they will add a lot more features in FC3 (cant wait)

wat really impressed me was the small size of the game (i mean how the heck did they manage to fit such a game into approx 4.5GB)

ability to climb and hide in trees, then maybe snipe from there or jump down at unexpecting enemies

id like to see large wild cats like lions, tigers or cheetas which are always a danger to u

ability to bribe enemies; to either join u or give intel about their boss or even to poison/kill their boss (some bribed enemies may even doublecross u and tell their boss ur plans)

ability to shoot and drop bee hives so as to clear an area of the enemies

I mean come on this country is beyond corrupted, so surely theres some twisted money hungry foot soldier or even civilian looking to make some extra cash. As for the trees, there is definitely a lack of stealth in the game despite the silent weapons. For a country that doesnt invest in body armor, it sure takes too many shots from the mp5 and silenced pistol to put an enemy to sleep, but yeah i'm all up for going Tarzan on them hooligans lol

bTW I'm not saying Farcry 2 isnt great, its AMAZING! I just want you guys to get FarCry 2 pregnant and have millions of little Far Cry 2 babies where it becomes such an invisible force that it practically turns into a multiplayer World of Far Cry 2 where in players can start their own factions and gangs and private armies or even just play as a loner, take on entire groups of players, sabotage their camps, steal supplies, take out their leaders! Torch enemy safehouses! raid their armory! Cars!

Your ideas are both reasonable and sound like it would make the game twice as good. And yea i too hate the fact that all the guard posts are hostile and you have to spend an extra 10 minutes killing them. Another idea is that they should add a more sophisticated weapons system. By that I mean like weapon attachments and stuff.

I really REALLY want to keep playing this game. I'm only 50% of the way and thats only cause i dont want it to end. I'm plotting out the many different ways i can take out enemy personal. Sometimes i'll snipe a driver in a moving vehicle or IED my car and park it in the ceasefire zone just to watch how many i take out. Yeah I've run it into a checkpoint and blew it up, i'm getting tired of that, specially the running away part. I just really want MORE out of this game. I want OPTIONS

That kind of gameplay would really define what kind of character you want to be. Would be nice if buddies can ride along on road trips, one riding shotgun and a 3rd on the machine gun. Would be nice if we had the option to bust through a checkpoint, or just pull over and bribe the guards with booze or smokes. Would be nice if the target missions never run out cause theres always some new thug replacing the ones we killed.Would be nice to have a helicopter or a plane to roam the rest of africa. How about hunting for food as a basic health ration. How about lots of civilians.

@xSnaKeFromHellx I think the best games from both worlds are the ones that let you play in every location that you see as you move through the storyline. That's what made Half Life and Half Life 2 fascinating for so many games. The same applies to free roamers like Prototype and Far Cry 2: it's much more satisfying when you can actually play in the scenery instead of playing around it.
