  • @SimpleLittlePleasues What's you favorite glitter polish?? and what one is the cheapest??

  • @TheMj786 I don't think I could pick a favorite - what's cheapest is going to depend on what's available where you live but most drugstores carry brands like wet n wild =)

  • @sweetberry2337 obviously yes LOL

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues i tried this and did what u say like leave the water out for a hour but the design didnt come out and everything didnt come out right

  • @gmherps13 well, the polish plays a part too & of course making a good design takes practice =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues can you use bottled water ?

  • @becca89891 it should be fine as long as there are no additives =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues im sorry for saying this but since i subscribed you you started making alot of videos may u explain why please??? reply

  • @dana20715 Well, I work full time so I've always made videos as I had time to do so - sometimes I only have time for a few & sometimes for a lot =)

  • Your addicted to color series rocks! You should start more like it! :) (psst psst, metallics! :))

  • @YOLYVIV I use a 5 oz paper cup & room temperature filtered water =)

  • Check out my nail tutorials!!

  • hey im ten and u guess right.i guess i will forget some cool stuff because i will be busy with other stuff but i tink ur very "cool" for ur age

  • wat is ur age i just asked cuz u sound a little bit old and old ppl dont know cool stuff

  • @apple12521 I'm 30 ... not sure if you consider that old LOL but if you think old people don't know anything cool you must be very young =) are you going to forget anything cool you know once you're "old"?

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues You don't look 30 :)

  • @krissypooh12459 she does look 30

  • @04trinigirl not sad, just tired =)

  • @ImForeverAwesome well, I buy them LOL. I've been collecting since I was a kid =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues =] lol, do u do a new water marble evry day since u have so many nail polishes ? andhow do you have so much time to answer many peoples questions on all yr videos?

  • @ImForeverAwesome I usually change my nails 3-4 times a week =) answering comments doesn't really take that long since I type pretty fast

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues =] do u change them because u get bored of them or because yr trying to make more videos?

  • @ImForeverAwesome mostly because I get bored - I don't do vids for most of my manicures, just blog posts =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues where did find out aboout water marbling, and posting them online ? i really like your videos i was wondering if u can do a vid of all yr nail polish collection =]

  • @ImForeverAwesome I read about it on several other blogs before I started doing it myself - there are some pics of my stash on my blog =) I don’t know when I’ll get to a vid but in the right sidebar there's a drop down for my labels - look under the tag "my stash" & I think it's the 2nd post that will show up

  • :) ;) <3

  • those arnt nails...theyre wepons...wayyyyyyyyy too long

  • these are beautiful colors i lve them u are amazign i wish i could do it but it just doesnot work for me

  • @MsBeautiful2021 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • Great tutorials! I love the addicted to color series. It would be great if you did a blue colored one (:

  • @victoriaenciso I'll be doing every color eventually, I'd like to do another soon since it's been a few months =)

  • do you have to filter the water???

  • @SuperPinkcutie27 I recommend it - most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. Bottled is also usually OK as long as there are no additives. You can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =)

  • It did not work for me -_-

  • @NicelleLOVE101 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • why does my mine doesn't want to scatter? Just asking!

  • @lChachieBoo Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • How do u clean it up , is that with regular nail polish..cool

  • @YOLYVIV I use a brush dipped in acetone for what's left after the tape is removed – you can check out the clean up tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how =) it's normal polish although not every color works.

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues does it have to be filterd

  • @daisy43214321 yes, most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. Bottled is also usually OK as long as there are no additives. You can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =)

  • Love it

  • Hi I'm one of ur subscribers and watch all of ur marbling vids if only I could do it my self. I have a big question if u do not mind, how can u find out if the water is room temperatured NOT INVOLVING A THERMOMETER plzzzzzzz thx I really wanna water marble THX SOOO MUCH ~Star~

  • @star19amethyst it doesn't have to be exact - I just recommend leaving it out for an hour or so =)

  • I have a question i use filterd water and fairly new nail poish, but it doesnt seen to work for me:( do you know why?

  • @kisses0114 a couple things - not everyone's room is the same temp, mine is usually mid-70's. The size of the cup matters also, polish seems to spread better in a small cup - & last is that not every polish works, it can take a lot of trial & error to find colors that spread well =)

  • Where can u get china glaze can u please answer I just wanna save a trip to any random store for sake of the penguins :) oh and Omg i did my first marble thingie and I gotta admit I cried but I made it they look

    Awesome Thanx .

  • @Emochick9287 it's available at sallys, ulta & online =)

  • 1:29 eeewwww that looks nasty

  • @SimpleLittlePleasuers Wouldnt they go bad if u kept them for years, Cause I had mine for a year and it's dead.... PS Your awesome at nails

  • @PuppieGirl1011 no, polish doesn't go bad - if it gets thick just hit it with a little polish thinner =)

  • Is it true that SallyHanson tests on animals?

  • @TheGreenDolphinFilms I have no idea

  • how much nail polish do yuu have plz let me no

  • @tartarcake over 1600 bottles =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues wow thats a lot of nail polish

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues How do you get soo many polish bottles? And where do you store them? My mom would kill me if I got 1600 bottles of polish!

  • @CitrusWebkinz I've collected basically swince I was a kid =) I have 3 helmer units as well as several shoe boxes

  • How many bottles of nail polish do you have? And is Sally Hansen a good brand to use while marbling?

  • @55bumper I have over 1600 bottles =) You can’t really go just by brand - the only way to know for any specific color is to try it

  • What type of filtered water is that?

  • @Mario123547 it's from a brita pitcher =)

  • does it matter what type of brand of the finger nail polish u have?

  • @babyjesus1998 you can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thx :) cuz i probably would have wasted some polish if i hadn't known

  • It's Only water?, I saw a tutorial but, painting guitars, the "swirl" style, but it says that it's necessary to put "Borax" on the water.

  • @Malmsteen1990 I don't add anything - it's just plain room temperature filtered water =)

  • @zoeyzoey112 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • @viktorija13100 no it's china parks not glaze

  • Isn't china glaze the girl from ant farm.the tv show from disney

  • @viktorija13100 I've never heard of that show so I don't know =)

  • I love your water marble tutorials! They're really great. :) I just have a question. How come when I use room temperature, filtered water, my nail polish will not spread. The first drop usually spreads nicely, but the ones that follow do not. Also, when I try to move the design around with the toothpick, it pulls the entire design with it and messes it all up. I have never gotten this to work. Am I doing something wrong?

  • @liloreoqueen101 a couple things - not everyone's room is the same temp, mine is usually mid-70's. The size of the cup matters also, polish seems to spread better in a small cup - & last is that not every polish works, it can take a lot of trial & error to find colors that spread well =) if its dragging when you try to draw it sounds like your colors are drying too fast

  • a lot of people have been asking what nail polish works best but it is really the thinner ones

  • @thegrouchmonster101 I've had good luck with thicker ones as well, as long as they are not so thick they won't drip- th most important thing is that it dries very slowly =)

  • where do you buy the nail polish at

  • @allycatnbri2000 all different stores - you can check out my haul vids for some examples =)

  • I LOOOOOOOVE YOUR VIDEOS! ARE GORGEOUS! :D

    Keep it!

    Greetings from Peru :D

  • Thank you! But how do i know when i want to buy a skow drying one how do i know which ones are? and how do i know which ones tht i already have are??

  • @Fionahifi the only way to know is to try them =)

  • Wow!! how does your nailpolish not dry up on the surface of the water?!??!? i used room temperature, filtered water bt it still dries on the surface VERY quickly. yours doesnt at all!!! Helpp how can i make it not dry uppp???? :/

  • @Fionahifi every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower =) Also make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster

  • i have attempted to do water marble so many times that i cant even count! our table had nail polish all over it and we cant get it off! :D

  • I love your water marble nail videos :) they're really fun to watch and intersesting! ;)

  • Can you do it without using any base coat?

  • @Damarischina it’s not required, but I always recommend a base color because it helps the marble colors be more opaque & vibrant =)

  • I love ur water marbling videos cuz whenever I see other people on YouTube doing water marble they look like they dnt kno wat they're doing and they're designs never look as nice as the ones that you do :)

  • i see you always use like a styrafoam cup. i dont have any styrafoam cups, and my mom wont let me use any of out glass cups cuz they can get dirty. i have this container that once held wipes, (like those regualr huggie boxes things) would water marble work with that even though its not a circle?

  • @ThePoserDiaries it's actually a paper cup - polish wil dissolve styrofoam & can cause a huge mess. Really any container will work, it doesn't have to be round, but I do recommend finding one as small as possible because it seems to let the polish spread easier =)

  • I've tried this with many colors but my polishes don't spread in the water! And then when I go to swipe the design, it breaks the surface and everything is ruined! Any suggestions??

  • @EmmisMaleexis Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • Where do u set up ur camera for ur tutorials?

  • @NailpolishGirl27 just to the side of the cup =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Thanks! I am trying to find a spot to place my iphone while filming any ideas?

  • @NailpolishGirl27 not really - do they make an iphone tripod?

  • does your base color have to be white

  • @kleec818 no - although I do recommend using some color or the marble design can be transparent =)

  • @CarolinaGates lighthouse =)

  • Does the polish u use for water marble slow drying??

  • @Bianca16797 yes, that's the most important quality =)

  • Chick and hawt love them colett

  • IMPRESSIVE.

  • Should I only use solid colors like no shimmer or pearl ones?

  • @TraceFace87 you can use any finish that you like, although sometimes colors spread better if you stick with just one =)

  • you did not say what base color you used on your nail for this yellow water marble. joanna

  • @mccloud567 it was lighthouse - details I forget to mention in the vid are always included in the blog post =)

  • BEAUTIFUL! THANK YOU.

  • Im jst saying, ppl please LOOK AT dUH COMMENTS!! Stop asking her questions!! Ive seen many question askes and answered a billion times!! Let her rest or sumthin!

  • @simplelittlepleasures thank you so much I look forward to your new videos!

  • i wide really like to know why my marble is not working. my polishes aren't spreading. pls help i love

    marble.

  • @beautifulsissta Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • what is the type of water i cant get it to work that good?

  • @urbabylorenea I always use room temperature filtered water from a Brita pitcher - most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. Bottled is also usually OK as long as there are no additives. You can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =)

  • Will you do a candy corn water marble for this season? I love your videos! Keep doin what your good at!(:

  • @il0V3Bi3B I did a candy corn marble last year, so I don't know that I'll revisit it this year but there are definitely some halloween looks coming =)

  • you are very good at that =)

  • Can u do a vid on make up pls for me with your nice nails

  • @sweetashxx1 I haven't completely ruled it out but for right now I don't plan on doing any makeup vids =)

  • can you do a spider web looking water marble for halloween? :)

  • @friendswoah I have one from last year =) I may revist the idea but I'm not sure yet

  • @friendswoah she did already

  • Do you think cheap nailpolishes would work?

  • @Frediscoolerthanjosh you can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =)

  • You must go through a LOT of tape. :/

  • @132435Sarah132435 not really - the pieces are pretty small. I realized the other day I've been on one roll for like 2 years now =)

  • @132435Sarah132435 not to forget about the money of the nailpolishes, I mean those aren't cheap xD

  • Can u use any water

  • @sweetashxx1 I always use room temperature filtered water from a Brita pitcher - most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. Bottled is also usually OK as long as there are no additives. You can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =)

  • What was on your thumb when you dipped it in the cup??

  • @mikkym04 It’s just tape – you can check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • did you put a base color?

  • @maddielovesnick yes, I used lighthouse =)

  • how long does it take for the manicure to dry when you pull it out the water?

  • @prettyqut2 It’s mostly dry within a few minutes, then I use a quick-drying top coat =)

  • soo sad :/ it NEVER works for me D:

  • @MissesMitch Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • this never works for me!! does it nessecerly have to be a paper cup?

  • @JuliaRusan you can use any cup, other than styrofoam with polish can dissolve, but are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • i love watching the nail polish spread out in the water its so cool im mesmerized ,i think i have a problem :P i can't wait to see some halloween stuff :D

  • out of all the nail polish brands you have tried (for both water marbling and just a regular nail painting) whats the best brand as for quality and how long they last?

thanks so much, love your tutorials <3

  • @abstractxXxsmile fior marbling there really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying =) even for a normal manicure I think wear has as much to do with base & top coats as the brand, and I don't wear mine more than a few days so I don't really see how most polish wears long-term

  • How Many Times Do You Do Your Nails A Week ? [: .

  • @xMawnstur usually 3-4 times a week =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Oh Okay . Thanks . [: !

  • I tried this and the polish does spread like what you show in water but when I try making some design everything just sticks to my tooth pick the minute I dip it in. Is it necessary to use an orange stick??

  • @StarStruckPanda no, you can use anything with a fine point but you have to make the design while the polish is still wet - it sounds like your polish is starting to dry so you either have to work faster or find colors that dry slower =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ok I will try some different polish then. Thanks a lot!! :). I love all your designs :D

  • dose it matter what sally hensen you use because lile theres 20 differennt different vers of that bbrand like sally hensen glitter and stuff

  • @legolover3321 yes - every polish is different in the water & not every one works =)

  • @simplelittlepleasues, sorry i didn't mean to say it like that. i didn't mean to be rude or anything i love ur videos by the way

  • @roringsnow, don't get me wrong i love painting my nails. i wasn't insulting anyone people r aloud to say their opinion if u didn't like me comment (which u didn't) u showed it.

  • @MakeupwithAnnmarie room temperature filtered water =)

  • Can you do a Halloween water marble using orange black and silver??
