There were originally 24 squares but Liberty,Elbert and Ellis were all lost due to to either a parking lot or the civic center.Ellis square was recently restored but (to me) is much different then the other squares.

I think (?) this is the square they filmed Gump in - when he was sitting on the bench.

I loved the squares there - very pretty nad peaceful.
