Yes thats true. At the end of the season I had practice enough I had hit 2 geese with one shot 2 times and hit 2 ducks with one shot in the late duck season and got a banded mallard.
Hell yeah my $1,800 shotgun needs to pay off somehow... even though i did shoot a goose that was double banded and had a $100 reward on it. I also shot 3 other banded geese and 1 drake mallard this last season so i would have to say it paid off big time.
