Good tutorial but the true meaning of a silencer is to extend and protect the barrel, so a good idea is to get a longer barrel and add more foam inside, so the barrel is fit and protected. And also your supposed to paint the end of the silencer orange so it's legal. Me and my friends have been frisked a lot by cops but not put in the back of a squad car! Must have been scary

@grunky8 Orange tips are only required for sale of airsoft guns. They are not required by law after sale and transport. Most states classify airsoft guns and airguns in the same category, and airguns are not required to have orange tips.

However, its not a good idea to remove the orange tip from your airsoft gun or paint over it unless you are only going to be playing at a registered airsoft field. If you try to play in the backyard with the orange tip off, get ready for cops to come.
