  • @mino3d1

    Hi

    You most welcome...enjoy!

  • Naumanrauf are you a Pakistani? Don't even know what to love with ?? hey tell me something suppose Mrs.Bavana's voice loves u back what will u do with it alone? A person has to be loved as whole along with their merits & demerits in true sense, not just voice, hair, nails , face etc.. Better record her voice in ur mobile phone & hear it all night until ur exhausted haha.

  • Yes u can make a fairly good curd using amul milk powder. Dissolve well in hot water then boil then fermentate as usual. Taste may differ a little but it is still edible.

  • ur voice is awesome i forgot to watch making of yogurt :(

i m feeling in love with ur voice really........

wat shud i do now????? :(

  • @naumanrauf

    Hi

I don't think it was that good...anyways, but there is nothing I CAN DO....

  • I made Yogurt frm amul milk powder

  • @yogtantra1

    Did it work?

  • I made yogurt from buffalo milk.. it was very good & thick.

  • @yogtantra1

    Hi

    great...enjoy!

  • Hi,

I'm wondering if this would also work when I use soymilk and soy yoghourt instead of regular products? what do you think? do you have any experience on that?

    thanks

  • @Boubisous

    HI

Sorry to say but I have never tried but if you try I would sure love to hear from you...so that even other people get benefit of it as well...enjoy!

  • @Boubisous Hi, I have made yogurt from soymilk. Basically it is the same as milk yogurt. But soymilk yogurt set very fast and you have to consume it early, otherwise it will turn very sour. The taste is different from milk yogurt and it is an acquired taste:)

  • @kentisann

    Hi

    Thanx a million for sharing...

  • @kentisann 2 million here

  • @oogp Welcome folks. As soymilk yogurt is relatively flat in taste, you can put in some spices like cinnamon, star of anise or even fresh herbs like basil etc. Basically you can put in your 'secrete' spice recipe and produce your 'signature' soy milk yogurt to impress your friend. Hehe:)

  • Your method of yogurt its oke but for the best one you have to keep in open pot or the most better method is if you have any clay pot believe me it will so amazing sweet and beautiful because the clay pot extract all moisture and it be so pretty

    yogurt try once lol.

  • @strangerlover11

    HI

    Thanx for sharing...

  • @SuperVeggieDelight You wellcome but as I showed you the method do exactly the same and you will find

    the best yogurt lol.

  • @strangerlover11

    Hi

    Will sure try...

  • @SuperVeggieDelight And not just eating the yogurt some time you can drink it like get about 3 full tea spone

of yogurt one full glass of water and just put in the juicer just for about 10 to 15 second you will find the butter

will be flolating on the top put some little salt with ice if like and drink it than let me know the test lol

  • @strangerlover11

    Sounds even more interesting...enjoy!

  • @SuperVeggieDelight Thanks.

  • How long it last in fridge? It freeze? Like in ice cube trays and then pop out and keep in ziplok bags in freezer until I need? HOW MUCH STARTER YOGURT DID YOU ADD TO 1/2 GALLON MILK? Did you say 1 cup? Thanks.

  • @LietMonty

    HI

I did cover already in many comments already your question but one more time, I use within week and keep in fridge. I have never freeze my yogurt...use 1/4 -1/2 cup of starter for 1/2 gallon, depend how soury yogurt is..

  • @SuperVeggieDelight oh ok sorry about that, I'm watching this on a little cell phone so didn't go through comments. Thanks.

  • @LietMonty

    Hi

It's OK...it's not that I don't like to reply. Infact, I am always ready to help here but if you scan through comments, you most likely to get your answer and that will save lot of my time...keep enjoying!

  • Hi,

Many thanks, will try and keep you posted

    Take care

  • @MsBafagih

    Hi

Sure would love to hear if it works for you...enjoy!

  • @SuperVeggieDelight

    Hi,

It did not work, the water did di not evaporate so the yogart was floating on thick layer of water. I put the whole thing in a blender and used it as soft drink. It tatse well but caused consitipation

    Take care

  • @MsBafagih

Yogurt should be consumed in limit. And what do you mean by water did not evaporate? If you boil milk properly and add starter only when milk is luke warm, you can't go wrong. And make sure to use whole milk for better result....no low fat or fat free milk...

  • @SuperVeggieDelight You remember I advised you that I will try powder milk, so you have to use water to make the milk first. I got the milk to boiling point but this did not evaporate the water as a result my yogart was floating

  • @MsBafagih

Oh I see....so milk powder don't work basically...use fresh milk instead for better result...

  • Thank you very much for your prompt response. Will follow your advice and observe the results.

By the way can I use powder milk instead of fresh milk for homemade yogurt?

    Take car

  • @MsBafagih

    Hi

I have never tried with milk powder so you can give it a try in small amount...enjoy!

  • Where did you get the premade yogurt, what brand or package did you use, I'm from canada and we have Foremost, Activia, yoplait, greek plain yogurt, etc. Great thanks!

  • @lycheesack

    Hi

It's been a long time, we have been using our homemade yogurt only. You can use dannon plain yogurt if available...

  • Thank you again. What is your opinion if I make more and then dilute it little bit and put in bottles as soft drink? Can I continue drinking same for a period above one week?

Do you I have to back to the same process of buying new yogurt or use the one made at home to start all over again?

    Take care

  • @MsBafagih

    Hi

Once you have homemade yogurt, reserve everytime for next batch. You can add icing water in your yogurt and you can keep in fridge for a week but for best use, just add water when you want to consume...

  • How long can you leave the yogurt in the fridge covered like that? A few days? A week or two? Or more?

  • @NekoKac

    Hi

I usually keep yogurt covered in fridge and try to finish within a week...

  • @SuperVeggieDelight Thank you very much! I'll be sure to try it. :D

BTW, does it work if you want to make liquid yogurt instead of this ''hard'' one?

  • @NekoKac

    Hi

you can use milk with less fat to make thin liquidy yogurt...enjoy!

  • The bacteria culture (Lactobacillus) is killed if exposed to temperatures of 55°C (130°F) or more, and does not grow well below 37°C (98°F). the optimum incubation temperature is actually 50°C.

  • @Salahuddin2009a

    Hi

    Thanx for sharing...enjoy!

  • It is very well explained and very easy to make. Thank you

  • @MsBafagih

    Hi

    Thanx and enjoy!

  • im really sorry :s i cant undertand you at the video how many time is necesary to let the yogurt in the oven..thank u very much

  • @lolitatempika03

    Hi

I usually place in the oven for about 4-41/2 hours. If you turn on the light in the oven, 4 hours are just enough and you will get nice yogurt....still question, feel free to ask. Enjoy!

  • I made this last week and it turned out perfect! Thank you so much!

  • @rlambe72

    Hi

    Glad to hear that...keep enjoying!

  • hi!! i have a question...how did you do to make the yogurt creamier than the normal one??

  • @lolitatempika03

    Hi

I use regular fat milk for yogurt. Boil properly so all the water is evaporated and gets little thicker. So it always comes out creamier.

  • I like your yogurt pan with the lid. Can you please let me know where I can buy one. Is it stainless steel? Thanks for your video.

  • @408coconut

    Hi

Yes, it is Stainless steel and bought from Zambia(south africa). My mother in law has many utensils from there since they stayed there for about 10-15 years...

  • Thanks Bhavana That's a great demo! Love your recipes and your style of presenting ;-)

  • @kotugirl

    Hi

    Thanx and enjoy!

  • Why can't you use yogurt culture.

  • @Seyahhsod

    I did not understand..

  • Hi Bhavna, its me again, I also want to make the yogurt my question is after the yogurt has been made can I transfer it into plastic containers before I place it in the fridge?

  • @fudgedogbannana

    Hi

Yes, you can but you don't want to break your yogurt right after it settle down. I usally keep at least couple of hours in referigerator to get it thicker and settle down nicely and then transfer but I usually use pot which can fit in fridge...enjoy!

  • Nice video :-)

I have a question : To make greek style yogurt can I add cream or half and half to the milk to make it smoother and thicker ?

  • @YTfancol

    Hi

    Yes, enjoy!

  • grt video ty

  • hello! i just wanna ask. how can i be sure that the product is really a safe yogurt and not a "spoiled milk"? yes it's sour just like an ordinary yogurt but i'm not sure if it's really a yogurt or just became spoiled. thanks, you're really helpful! god bless u :D

  • @kirkivanbaesa

    Hi

If it's spoiled, it won't smell good. But if yogurt is good, it has pleasant smell...

  • The yogurt came out great. Thanks again.

  • Hi Bhavna, thankks for sharing! that was awesome! question... if I add even more cream, will the yogurt taste creamier? I want the kind of yogurt you can buy at foodcourts, tastes a lot richer.

  • @henry1989

    Hi

You can use fatty milk to make it richer...enjoy!

  • @SuperVeggieDelight thanks. you are so helpful :)

  • @henry1989

    HI

    You most welcome...enjoy!

  • Hi how much yogurt did you use? I can't make out if you said 1/4 cup or 1 quart. Thanks.

  • @hlpsg

    Hi

I use 1/4 cup for 1 ltr milk. For detail recipe, visit website...enjoy!

  • hi bhavna

i tried to make curd at home so many times but it's not set proper

i put it aside for night and then it was liquid not curd

what i need to use for sourness

  • @riddhishreya

    HI

Did you follow my video properly? If so you can't go wrong...just tell me some steps...how you prepared and I can probably help you...

  • the reason for using yogurt to make yogurt is that there is already the required bacteria in it , so you dont have to look for the bacteria culture, which is harder to find

  • @jelletoday

    HI

    Thanx for sharing...enjoy!

  • you need yogurt to make yogurt? O_o

  • Ok, here's the thing: I don't have a termometer but I used a finger to see if the temperature was low enough to add the culture (Yogourmet brand). 4 hours later it still looks like milk and nothing like yogurt. My guess would be that putting the pan with the milk container over a pan with hot water was not a good idea in a tropical climate like mine (25-30C right now), and that the bacteria died. I decided to add more ulture because it tastes like sweet milk and not like it's gone bad

  • @xondragalvez do you reckon it should die or that it's going to live anyway? I'm kinda scared, this was my first time :/

  • this is bullshit full of talk shit

  • @constantino123

    Hello!

tips are more important than just showing specially for begginers...If you are very talented at making yogurt, this video if of course not for you...

  • @tictacpink

    Hi

    Use lemon...

  • 'Electronic whiskers' ay and robotic cats?

  • any1 else find her voice relaxing?

  • This is an excellent method. I found another secret from a pakistani chef : once you add the starter yogurt to the milk whisk it vigorously for few minutes till frothy. Then set it in warm place.Chill it after done .You will never buy store bought gelatin kind once you make it at home!!

  • this is the easiest recipe I have seen.. I will try this one.. Thanks!!

Yes, making your own yogurt is much more easier than people think...enjoy!

  • @MakeupLover86

    Hi

    Thanx for sharing.

  • so how much vinager will u need insted of normal youghurt to put into the milk

  • @EpicFail519

    Hi

As I said in one of the comment, I haven't tried with vinegar. I heard that result is not good. So i always use my existing yogurt to make yogurt.

  • making yogurt out of yogurt?

  • @CandyJamm

    Hi

Yes, you need yogurt, lime juice or vinegar to culture yogurt. I prefer yogurt for great result. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

  • @SuperVeggieDelight well, thanks for replying back. i may use vinegar. because well i wanna make new yogurt in something is not yet yogurt. well, how much yogurt i will use??

  • @CandyJamm

    Hi

If you want to use vinegar, no yogurt needed.

  • @CandyJamm

I think you wanted to know how much vinegar, I have never tried with vinegar so not sure. However, if you want to use lime juice, for 4 cups milk, add 2 tbsp. I always use existing yogurt as a starter for great result.
