About time I replay this one. I remember having a lot of fun. The graphics were a little on the short side, but the story and gameplay didn't seem to suffer much from them.

Yeah, i personally detest FMV in old adventure games. Ill take quality voice acting and good ol' 2d anim over budgeted FMV any day.

In terms of production and film quality.. it made GK1 feel like a bad soap opera at times.

You should pick it up now. It holds up surprisingly well. Plays fine on XP. The graphics are a bit cartoony, so the oldness doesn't bother me so much.

makes two of us. to me, "the beast within" is the best of the trilogy. in my opinion, fmv is the best way to tell an adventure story. but apparently, not many people think that way. too bad :/

The game is now 11 years old. It would be very hard to find in stores now. Hopefully, Jane Jensen will make the 3rd sequel sometime in the future.

The Sierra Studios branch that published GK3 also happened to publish Half-Life for Valve, a company that's now working with EA instead.
