  • :( dis is sad :((

  • I work with that DJ ,You should have youre ass kicked for saying that.Being a fat ass is a choice,Some Euro dude is not gonna change a city ,just saying.

  • @theliberalmedia08 sorry to break it to you but we are designed to eat meat,if we wernt we would have a mouth only with moulers..there is so much nutrition from meat, and while I am an animal lover and believe in the processing of meat in a humane way it is still necessary to our well being.

  • wow i have never seen such ignorant bastards that dont care that they are killing their children without a care or notion of the reality

  • that DJ was an idiot. I doubt that he would know what a lettuce looks like. It made me sad when I saw Jamie cry.

  • Maybe if you come back, you could partner with them to do something in our area. Thanks so much for what you're doing.

  • how about china ?!

  • You can do it Jamie! God Bless you!! from your fan in Thailand :)

  • I <3 YOU JAMIE

  • great show.. check out my channel for a parody of this show called Jamie Oliver's Hair Revolution

  • I'm watching the 3rd episode right now, and I'm just amazed at how backwards those in charge operate. They are so concerned with having 2 breads and 1 1/4 cup of fruits and vegetables. But the students aren't eating it! The little kids throw it away and the high school kids don't even take it, all they want is french fries! We need to throw away the charts and graphs and use some freaking common sense. For God's sake!!!

  • This make me proud to have a british bloodline :)!

  • you rock man! thank U sooooo much!!!! God Bless You!

  • Jamie, I think you're the Jesus of food.

  • Keep up the hard work Jamie.

When snails are given other choices along side their local food sources, the snails choose the local food. Are we conditioning our children in our schools to prefer foods that are bad for them? Ever heard "It's an aquired taste"? Yes, the school may not fry it, but the companies that sell it to them after they leave the school do.

  • Cheers from Lisbon-Portugal, you're the best Jamie, keep up the good work!

  • Aww he's trying

  • Jamie, I think what you're doing is incredible!!!!

As a Doctor myself I'm always trying to help patients realize how they're killing themselves with food. Taking on one person at a time is hard work, but I can only imagine what it would be like to take on the country! Good on ya!!!!

  • @crackerjack1969 I concur.

  • Everyone's passing the buck, blaming the meat industry or McDonalds, but they should really blame themselves. What? You thought feeding your kids fast food was actually a good idea?

  • Jamie - Please keep up the good work with your Food Revolution. Know that your efforts are appreciated and I respect the hard work that you are putting into your Revolution, and the personal sacrifice that you are making to send your message. Whole foods are the future, and for those of us who already believe and practice this way of life, we know that changing the minds of Americans will be an uphill battle. We can change the world, one eater at a time. It is worth the effort! Always!

  • jami you can make it!

  • I hope that DJ was being an ignorant prick on purpose to raise the publicity for the show. It's because of dumb attitudes like that that America has such a high statistic for obesity.

  • @maxchina09 He really was an obnoxious ignorant knuckle head that radio host. Reminds me of a South Park episode...

  • @maxchina09 WOOOOORRRDD

  • THUMB UP :)

  • Go Jamie!

  • He Cry by 1:30 Min :'( oh my god, this guy is Amazing :)

  • I say "if parents really care about their kids"Prove it"!! If you have the money to buy food --buy good food!!Whatss wrong with a hearty soup and salad or sandwich for supper?

You don;t have to shovel so much in your moth that you can;t move!!

  • pizza !!! O_o potatoes O_o OMG

  • Jamie, I've been your fan for a long time and I KNOW you're gonna kick those "miserable bastards" butts (they just don't know it yet).

  • Good Luck, Jamie! Those "miserable bastards" are running and ruining this country.

  • YEAH! I SUPPORT YOU JAMIE... Support all the way from Malaysia.

  • why does it take a british tv chef to help? does the u.s. govt care???

  • @theproducegarden the US depends on the meat industry to keep its money in the economy, they will do nothing to stop it. The fats food industry (spelled correctly) is a billion dollars business, they have lobbyist that make deals to put this shit into the schools systems, which takes money in exchange to buy the teachers admin un-needed shit, this is all fact and can be proven if you do the research. Sadly YOU approve of this for your kids everyday by not doing anything to stop it.

  • @TheDudeRulez09 I DO, things are different in Australia, thank goodness!!!!!!

  • @theproducegarden when I said YOU, I was meaning people in general not specifically you unless you are singularly behind it all? ARE YOU? LOL joke, congrats on Australia's better food system I guess, I have no basis of it to compare.

  • I think the root cause is deeper still: Just plain laziness.

People have become lazy. Fastfood is easy to get, and easy to eat. There are no surprises.

Going to the groceries, buying carrots, leeks, potatoes...etc, cleaning the veg, peeling and cutting up the veg, cleaning the pots and pans used, and even the plates and cutlery... is just too much work for the lazy generation.

    There is your real problem.

  • Laziness is indeed an issue, but its not just that.

Health knowledge and education is also important and I think Jamie Oliver's intention is twofold: to motivate and inspire, but also to educate people on the right foods to eat.

  • Yes i completley agree, i feel like we just keep being lazy about everything and therefore limiting ourselves. Its time for change

  • Looks awesome! Touching moment when you cried! Cheers from "The Vegan Chef"

    Berlin-Germany, 13th of February 2010

  • Go on Jamie, you do the right thing
