  • IM DIZZZZZZZZZYYYYYY!!!!!!!

  • a singing monkey brought me here

  • Good tune but the flip side, The You I Need was even better.

  • Nice & Smooth also sampled the intro beat along with a intro beat to the "Fat Albert" theme song and calling it "Early To Rise" as a hip-hop classic.

  • my 1st boy friend sang this to me. we were only 11 and 13 . bobby morgan .i will always remember you.

  • my 1st boy friend sang this to me. we were only 11 and 13 . bobby morgan .i will always remeber you.

  • 3 people are dizzy

  • I Think It's Time For Us To Make Fresh Rhymes Out Of Our Heads.

  • brings me back to high school Linda 71

  • 1969 humping in the jungles of Vietnam. God, what memories. I remember this tank we were working with and on one side they painted "crimson and clover" and on the other side "Dizzy". Oh yeah, those tankers loved their rock and roll too, ever though a war was going on!

  • this song is perfect for a 45. It almost makes you dizzy just watching it spin

  • that's kust how i feel right now!

  • omg this song brings back so many memories love it!!!!!!!!!

  • Whereas I liked this song a lot, my niece was absolutely in love with it that summer; she would get so excited whenever it came on the radio! I can still see her as a pre-teen, rushing to turn up the volume of her favorite song, and that's a great memory.

    Thanks for posting.

  • I still love this song.

I have not heard it in a while, but Dizzy is as good as ever.

    Thank you for the memories.

  • Bubblegum from the Summer of 1969, played endlessly on jukeboxes that hot summer, making us all feel dizzy from its repetitive chorus. Not a great song, but it survives in the world of sampling, which is the first resort of low talent rip-off "artists" in hip hop.

  • This song was sampled back in the 90's by a Hip Hop group called Nice 'n Smooth for a song called "Early to Rise". And another Tommy Roe song, Sweet Pea, was sampled by numerous artists as well, like Big Audio Dynamite and M.C. Lyte to name a few. So some white guy named Tommy from the 60's has contributed more to Hip Hop than that lame-ass Soulja Boy.

  • Oh...BTW...I LOVE 45's...now those were the days! :D

  • I only ever bought one vinyl single.. This was it.. Nicked my sister's till tapes came in ..Regards 1stclasspost

  • it's more like a... 42rpm single on that record player. It's really slow!

  • yeah, gotta love direct drive... always had problems with them being to slow , much harder to replace than belts too, tho I only have one working belt drive turntable... ironically.

  • @stijnkraft...Slow & quiet, can hardly hear it! Waste of time putting it on here when it's like this

  • I have this album!!

  • I wonder if anyone will put his song We Cam Make Music on youtube? That is also a great song.

  • This type of music will NEVER be replaced with today's Bullshit....

  • Still, thank you for the effort, brother. Last time I played this song was on something similar!

  • i love this song, i wasn't around when it was made, but i love it anyway

  • Im 28 and they really dont write em like they used to. Again, whoever wrote this song is a genius.

  • Dizzy came out in 1969.

  • What year did this come out?

  • He is my fathers 1st cousin!!! I have never met him but have heard alot about him!

  • Why can't music today sound this good?;)

One of my favourite songs for sure...

  • This song came out here in May 1969,i remember that because my dad bought a brand new 1969 american motors rebel and i just HAD to go for a drive in it and this song was on the radio, damn where has time gone.

  • "Where has time gone." I can relate. I remember the spring of 1969 when Dizzy came out. I was eight-years-old and in the second grade.

  • i love this song. tommy roe is way better than vic reeves.

  • dude i had this 45 rpm...

If I'm not mistaken it's Parrot Records. I hope they don't sue you. I bet they're long out of business but some company owns the copyright to this music and lyrics.

You better hope they don't have Prince on the case. Good like finding a Prince video on YouTube.

  • This song was on ABC Records (sold to MCA in 1978; Geffen currently owns this recording), not Parrot.

Universal Music knows of this clip...notice the ad placed on the video?

  • great song

  • Ooops! Sorry for marking that poor. I'm not on my comp, so I'm not used to the touchpad. :(

  • I love this song

  • Yeah, the lvl is low... when this counsel was working only one of the speakers worked on it... at the time I didn't think of direct connecting the turntable to my other amp or computer for that matter.

  • sucks.. low lvl.. heard it live on WFIL 56 Philadelphia on my AM boom box lmao.

  • Hey gwilliams is your first name Gordy. I know guy with a xanga acc with that name.

  • Yes I love this song, you can not beat the 60s music. It was only yesterday time moves so fast.God bless.

  • Low sound level tho... but I love the song :)
