I had a discussion today about how bad the music awards have become in the U.S.

Now I understand that Andrew White is highly recognized in Canada with some awards.

It's high time that great talents (like this guitarist) are given the spotlight they deserve.

When I first listened to the words, that is exactly what I heard as well. I listened to it several more times and decided that with his accent, I believe he is saying "ever-grace". Of course, I have no proof of this. Do you have a viable source for the lyrics or was yours merely by ear as well?

There are two reasons why it is "everglades". Firstly, the line before that says "heaven's rose petals" and petals is associated with everglades (forests, marshlands, vegetation etc) and also when you listen to the line you can clearly hear the "L" in "everglades". It is definitely "everglades".
