Miss Piggy was more violent during the earlier days of The Muppets. She isn't as violent in the much later television specials or the later movies of The Muppets. As much as I grew up with The Muppets, I'll say that they were at their best in both the 70s and 80s. From The Muppet Show, to the Muppet Movies, to the Muppet Babies, and to some of the Muppet television specials including the Christmas special of A Muppets Family Christmas, in 1986.
I wish it didn't have to end. That episode was pure joy.

Lena Horne has to be one of the best looking woman in the world-even at 60+ when this show was first broadcast--she looks great at any camera angle!
