I love it but you do suffer the consequences of being i a dyno room for hours on end, nausea, splitting headaches and general body pains from the acoustic pounding your body takes in the room. The feeling is VERY similar to being in a race car or fast small plane for hours on end. I would not trade jobs though...unless I could find one flying small fast planes around dangerous weather systems! Wait, that is more of a hobby now to relax after dyno time!
All you have to have to do a 1060cc kit is the piston kit itself, the base and head gaskets and then once disassembled you send your cylinders to a NICASIL plater or have sleeves pressed into the cylinders to accommodate the 3mm larger pistons. This bike obviously has a LOT more done to it however. Normal out the door price in our shop including dyno time and motor break-in is about $3500USD for a complete 1060cc conversion, light porting and such.
