@htavilap Yes it is! It's called The Cure: Trilogy and it covers this entire album as well as 'Disintegration' and 'Bloodflowers'. I bought it at Best Buy you can find it at a lot of different places.

There should not be and never will be anything even close to this kind of music ever again. This is what a live performance should always be.You can alway's excpect this from Robert Smith and The Cure and you probably should'nt excpect this greatness when it comes from any other bands. This is raw genius at it's very finnest.Smiths vocals are intoxicating.Smith's playing is brillant!!!!!! They will alway's be my very favorite band now and forever!
The song sounds live extremely good, much better than the original version on the 1982 album. Simon Gallup is so brilliant, his bass sounds like a monster truck........
@dcdwthx1138 Rickenbacker bass bro, the low end on that thing will knock you on your ass. I think that album was recorded with one too; you should get the remastered version, much better than the original cd pressing.
This is a tough song to pull off, as matching the emotion from the LP is difficult, but Robert is a great actor as much as anything else, he seems to be able to turn it on. I think sometimes he struggles to turn it off though! I agree that it is the bass that makes this live version work, and having Roger, that most under-rated of band-members, on keyboards.
You're still wrong... It has to do with musical style and composition. Goth is a decadent of the Post-Punk initially started by bands like Bauhaus and The Cure. Pornography, actually, was produced right Robert had toured as a back up guitarist for Siouxsie & The Banshees. Another of the original bands. (: It has so much more to do with how the music sounds than based off of how "dark" it is. And "The Cure" is a pioneer of that sound. For this reason, Depeche Mode is not Goth. xD
who has the best Gothic trilogy .... Depeche Mode's trilogy (Black Celebration, Music for the Masses, & Violator) or the Cure's trilogy (Pornography, Disintegration, & Bloodflowers) ?

@neilmccauley1 and i wouldnt exactly call depeche mode goth lol they have some dark songs but theyr not "goth".anyway why did you even bring depeche mode up on this ?
@louiscfc93 well DM music has been tagged as goth bcuz of its level of darkness and have a longer string of dark albums such as BlkCelb, MFTM, Vio, SOFAd, Ultra, PTA. The Cure began was tagg (labeled) as goth bcuz of 17sec, faith and Porn .... but they strayed away from it bcuz they didnt like being tagged as goth. what do u think?
From the songs iv been hearing from the cure there i dont know what to say, i dont want to say good or awesome just.. brillant!! I love how all of the instuments are being used in this song its great and the toms sound killer. This now has to be one of my favorites from them so far.

il primo concerto dei cure l'ho visto appena 18 anni fa',alla bella età di 15 anni grazie ad un mio ex!!!!per me è sempre un esperienza sentirli come all'ora
This was from the Trilogy show in Berlin where they played the dark trilogy of Pornography (1982), Disintegration (1989) and Bloodflowers (2000). The "see you in seven years" was the time between Pornography and Disintegration being released. Great Concert....buy the DVD or Blue Ray if you can.
No, this is from the dvd trilogy where they played Pornography, Disintegration, and Bloodflowers. Pornography is the last song on the album so he was just referencing Disintegration which came out 7 years after the Pornography album.
The song is about a russian boy who becomes a criminal so he can feed his mother and sisters, and when he grows up he becomes a rich business man in control of corrupt politicians. At the height of his success he slips on a banana skin and breaks his legs and his back. Then his wife leaves him and has relationship with another woman. Then the man who can no longer walk shoots himself in head but fails to die. He lives until age of 86 and finally dies of boredom.

Key to rising above unhappiness:
Rising above the moods/emotions that pass through the mind.
Realizing, through knowledge and meditation that you are NOT the mind or the moods/emotions that pass through it.
Along with the above, realizing that you are the pure consciousness that is the witness to the mind.
Unhappiness is a result of mistaking the self the be the mind and wrongly identifying with the mind and what is going on in the mind.
