Amazing concept! i think its little stroke of genius and cant begin to appreciate the amount of effort it must have taken to acheive this, very intrigued how you made the film, fantastic !
I dunno how you do it but Im glad that you do do it. I like the music, the elaborate-ness of it, if there is such a word and the humour you inject into it. Made me smile.
WOW! Beautiful piece, I'd love to hear it with "real" instruments replacing the synthesized ones. Also, I play a little bit of Sax (just the first three notes.. only joking) but was wondering can one but a simulator like the one you're using as Clarinet?
@damodrummer1 THanks for your comment. THe 'simulator' I use here is a 'wind synthesizer' They are remarkable electronic instruments with great expressive qualities because they have breath control and a reed you can bite to bend notes. Check out the Yamaha WX5 and the EWI wind synthesizers. They are the most popular.
Das Rheingold has one chord for over 2 minutes but doesnt have so many clones playing it. In "One note samba" we have a similar idea, with more rhythm. Mr. Winchester, wouldn't it be an idea to do the same again but with more rhythm and you neutralize the boredom?
@sridg99 I use a mixture of 'real' or acoustic instruments and synthesizers. For 'real' instruments I us: Tuba, Euphonium, Natural horn (large circular brass horn), Trombone, Flugelhorn/trumpet accordion, clarinet (not shown) and electric bass. I use a 'wind synthesizer (looks and plays like an electric clarinet) to play the oboe, English horn, flute and bassoon. I use keyboard synthesizers for cello, violin and harp. That's it. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I'm usually avoidant when someone random shares a video with me, but physics is neat, and I read that you only used one chord in this piece. It demonstrates the brilliant potential of music.
I got emailed this video by some guy I don't remember knowing, but you play great. How do you get along with each other? Do you fight much? Who's the best of each section?
I either just had a bad acid trip or just witnessed the single greatest orchestra on or under the face of the Earth. This was both inspirational and and beautiful.
LOL! Amazing! I can't believe you had the patience to do that. Very GOOD! I showed it to all my friends. But.. I heard the harp... where is the harpist?
This project is really spectacular ... with an accuracy that makes me surprised ... I congratulate this majesty of interpretation ... you are a great teacher. Congratulations
@TheMummatron Thank you. When I made the video I was tempted to not do the green screen work and just show a sunrise. Then I decided that the sunrise was painted well enough with the music that I didn't need to actually show it. I hope the clones don't distract from the imagery.
