This was actually an awesome game that not many people knew about. The only problem I had with it was that it was too short. This is a Gauntlet goldmine right here! They should make another Gauntlet game with this style for PSN/ XBLA. Period!

I think that's the third boss... but anyway, kill all the wizards that created it (the ones on top of the pillars). To get them down from the pillars, wait around at one until the boss is about to hit you & then run: it hits the pillar instead, knocking the wizard to the ground. Once they're all on the ground, you just need to avoid the boss & kill the wizards.

The tactics are precisely the same for them all whether single or multiple players. For the scarecrow & the tree-man: hurt them at a range while you can & when they get close, use block. The golem is described above. The wizard is the hardest, IMO - but still is the same block & hurt tactic as the scarecrow & tree-man. The last level is just: hide by the catapults until you have enough energy to use magic: kill off some generators & hide by the catapult again. ;)

The wizard needs the Health (to survive) but once you have a reasonable Health, Magic all the way to max. ;) To begin with the Warrior is the easiest to kill with & survive but once the Wizard has maximum Magic, the Warrior is very weak by comparison.

this is a tip when you play multiplayer: somewhon of you need to be a wizard then play. if you find i gate you are trying to open it but the enemies are hiting you then the wizard go close the gate and press the A button and then your friend try to to open the gate

I keep seeing this sort of comment but this is more Gauntlet than Dark Legacy / Legends ever were... There were four (five?) Gauntlets before Legends - Seven Sorrows is closer to the originals.

Hey how many weapon and armor upgrade are they? what happens if i skip one but i get the next one? do i just skip the upgrade or i get the upgrade i would have gotten if i didnt skip one?

I mean for example, level 1 upgrade one, level 3 upgrade 2 level 5 upgrade 3 if i skip lvl 3 upgrade, in level five i still get upgrade 3 or do i get upgrade 2??

"hack 'n slash" describes the method of killing - not the act. Typical fighting technique with a melee weapon is two-fold: one forehand stroke (hack) and one backhand stroke (slash)...

Haha, snap! Yeah, the first sorry kicked our butts first time around too. Use the block (L1 on PS2, left trigger on Xbox) when you see him collecting for a swing. You may still get knocked back but the damage will be near zero.
