Mary Frann (Newhart), she died much too young too!

Yes she did, very sad. Frann co-hosted the LA local cutways of the Easter Seal Telethon in the mid 80s, then co-hosted the national show with Pat Boone from 1988-96. Travalena also co-hosted a national Arthritis telethon from Las Vegas in the early 90s.

great talent. he's the guy that got me wanting to be in showbusiness. but, if you watch his various clips, he really does run hot and cold as far as his performances. in hindsight he was very good, but didnt do great routines or very memorable shows. i met him at a taping of a sitcom in the early 90's. nice guy, also taught voice-over classes. thanks for posting, and thanks fred, you will be missed.
