  • When the wind is in the right direction we can wake up in the UK and find red Saharan sand on the bonnets of our cars. Nature is truly amazing!

  • loved "the long way Round" watched series and got it on DVD...will be looking forward to the "long way Down" ....Wish i had the time an Backing to do this sort of thing on my trusty Yam !

  • I woke up one morning after a Libyan sandstorm and looked like I had been dipped in batter... sand was everywhere... ears... nose... took an hour to wash it off standing in a bowl of water

  • Good to see you still have the same mad camera man from the last series. Really looking forward to this being on tv and even more delighted the beeb have it seen as i've no sky one nowadays.

  • I can't wait to see this series. Long way round changed my outlook on life and gave me a hunger for adventure. Race to Dakar was also great. really really really can't wait 2 c this on TV :-)
