Taxi Driver, The Godfather 1-2, The Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now!, Chinatown, Patton and Barry Lyndon. The ones I mentioned, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and A Clockwork Orange had been here, this list had been perfect.

Yes that's a list of my PERSONAL top 10. You named the top 10 best of the 70's. Much different scenarios. Also, I just said it was cliche to have Godfather at the top.

It's not cliche, The first two Godfather films are the two best films of the 70's.

Any list of best films is subjective to whoever is making them, there can be no definitive "Best film" of the 70's, only individual opinions or polls representing popular opinion. Putting godfather at the top of your list is cliche because EVERYBODY does it. You can still say it's the best, but it's still a cliche and boring opinion. I like the fact you have Serpico and AFOD on your list, thats original.

Well you are right about that, but i didn't list The Godfather 1 and 2 on the top cause everybody else does it.

The reason i put them there is cause in my opinion (and in many other peoples opinion) they are the two greatest films of the 70's.

I forgot to put a few other foreign films there.

And hey i just got done watching Goodfellas for the 7th time right now lol, it's a great film.
