These big men werent afraid of a little body contact as they were only wrestling in their underwear. I think they "bumped the goods" a few times in this match. Would never happen today.
Great to see real wrestling as it was and not the circus it turned into in later years. Don Arnold was my hero when I saw him in New Zealand as a ten year old in 1951. I sill have the NZ Guide to Wesstling 1952 edition which shows that Don had 24 matches in New Zealand in 1951, for 14 wins, 6 draws and 3 losses with one "no decision" - due to police ending the fight, no doubt due to his opponent, villian Al Costello. The 3 losses were all to the great Earl McCready.
Camille ("Tarzan") Tourville is better known as Tarzan Tyler (picture him with blond hair). He was one half of the first ever WWWF world tag championship team with legendary heel "Crazy" Luke Graham, back in late 1971 and early 1972.
