  • thank you very much i appreciate your videos

  • thanks for the video, unfortunately i use force (don't smack me :D) when i train the dogs to beg or high five i like them to sit then i use my hands to move both paws up gently whilst repeating the command for 'beg' and then reward.. managed to do this 5 times then the dog begged on command. i find walls sausages to be the best treat!

  • labs are easier to train right??

  • @Thevideogamer360X it is not the dog which is easy to train.. its the patience and assertiveness of the trainer ;)

  • I've been trying for the longest time to teach my dogs to 'down' but they dont seem to follow the lure like in training videos :( They either eventually stand up (although I'm not holding it that far away from them) or just look at my hand when I try to lure them into a down :S

  • Whenever i say sit down to my dog he lies down...

  • sure, because you said sit DOWN, sit means sit and down means down...sit down can confuse your dog, maby that's what's going on.

  • HE IS THE DOG MAAAANNNN!!

  • if i try to get my dog to lie down like that she would just follow the treat with her nose. can someone please help me? i am ten years old and my mother says if she is not trained we will get rid of her and i love her. can someone please give advice on this?

  • first of all,get the attention of your dog and give him/her a treat,if he/she like the treat..put the treat into his/her mouth and start the command. Its very easy, goodluck!

  • Hello, well I can't tell you the exact way to do it but as said before you should start doing something you know your dog whant to do. Or maybe give him/her something. Some dogs like treats and some like games with balls or something like that.

the usual is giving a treat and suddenly the dog takes notice of you and whant's to know how to get more of the treat.

From there you just have to start the training. There is many ways to do it so feel free to try them out^^

  • hi eric, another question please,my 2 moths german shepherd sometimes eats pebbles, even sand.how can i stop him????? thx

  • hi eletendre1,thx for ur reply

my german shepherd is one month and a half old,is he too small to train?the problem is that i got him very small.10 days old,so he hasn't spent time with his litter mates,he still bites hard,i 've tried much to let him stop, nut no use,can u help please!!!

  • hey all u can do is take a newspaper roll it and tap it on his head every time he bites not to hard just a little tap my german shepherd is 6 yrs old now and he never bites cuz this helped him and his teeth r growing so it must be irrtating for him it happens with humans also when ur teeth r growing u want to bite sommething hard or it hurts!hope this helps love palwasha

  • hi eletendre1,i have a question?when i let th e dog follow the lure, should i say sit when i get it close his nose, then down when i put it down then stand when i make him follow it to the front?thx for ur nice videos

  • Thanks for your question. You can say sit just as your dog goes into the sit position. As you lower the lure, say the command down just as your dog gets into the down position.

    Good luck!

    Eric

  • my 3 month old german shepherd is very lazy plz help!!!

  • thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have same dog like you have, and I`ll tran it to the best :D

  • thankyou

  • Your welcome!

  • thanks MR!

  • what to i do?!?! When i try that my corgi backs up!!! or crouches

  • Put your corgi on leash, this can prevent the backing up. With the crouching put your corgi on a table or some surface where you are not standing over him/her.

  • o cool thanks!

  • sweet! Youre cool!

  • this vid really helps

  • good video my dog really sits and stands now

  • Very well done. It beats the beating methods I've seen so many use. Some people dont know...

  • i'll try with my pup but she won't listen

  • To quote the great W. Clement Stone: "If you think you can, or if you think you can't you're right."

    Best,

    Eric

  • working as hard as i can thanks know my cokerspaniels mixed with a pug knows how to sit

  • You are welcome. Glad to help.

    Best,

    Eric

  • hey,i got my toy poodle to do does tricks and he is kinda stupid.thanks for the training video.

  • i want to know i have a poodle and she dond like to walk on her leach or chain why is that how i make her walk outside

  • thank u very much but does it work on puppies because i bought a jack russell 2 months old and its hard for it to get it so can u tell me?

  • Hello, it works very well with puppies becasue you are using a reward based method. Make sure you use the lure very close to your JRT's nose. Be patient and if your puppy is very active, try training after you give your pup some exercise.

    Best,

    Eric
