Even though a lot of properties (mga balay, copras, humayan, gulayan, etc.) were totally shatter, Were so grateful to God that no one was hurt badly all through the calamity.
At this time you can still glimpse the after effect of flood, not only in Alubijid but also to the entire Northern Mindanao. I hope this disaster will not happen again, because seeing those people who were affected are not easy.

This video is so heartbreaking. Most of the places shown is where I spent my childhood years. The Hi-School was my playground with my cousins during vacations. I pray and hope for all my relatives there in Alubijid to be able to surpass this calamity. GOD bless.
The most important thing amidst this crisis is, HAVE WE FINALLY LEARNED OUR LESSON? We have faced nature's wrath which undeniably is due to rampant cutting of tress especially in forested areas in the upper Barangays. People continually cut trees in our forest, process them into coals to be sold to merchants (they come in truck loads weekly) for easy money. WHY ARE OUR BRGY. OFFICIALS TURNING A BLIND EYE to the rampant illegal activities? Do we have to wait until this town is underwater?
