True, but those "other people" are still working on YouTube while getting their paychecks from Google. Those "other people" would likely have either needed to close YouTube, or sell out to another organization that would have turned YouTube into another AOL Video. With Google at the helm, they keep YouTube alive, they keep it true to its original form, and they keep paying the bills even though YouTube is not yet profitable.
