  • What I noticed about this is if you look at Carl's car at Dega from '09 and Brad's car from this race, they both had the same right-rear quarter panel damage. I wonder if that damage had something to do with both cars going airborne.

  • not everything isnt brads fault. carl didnt do anything wrong there. keselowski wrecked 2 good cars on lap 41. keselowski needs to eatch old races and learn some respect from legends

  • This is what happens when Dale Jr. tried to mentor a driver.

  • carl sucks! go brad!

  • It puts fans in the stands nomatter what ya all think of em so they're both doing they're jobs

  • So you are saying Carl has "Flipped" his lid? Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh.

  • in 09 if you look at brads car after carl got hit brad moved up

  • yea brad moved up because once contact was made its either carl crashes or both cars crash.

    lern2physics

  • what a fucking ass hole, carl edwards what comes around goes around!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh I almost forgot guys.. Carl wrecked half of the chase drives as well as half of the fucking field in the fall Talladega race a few years ago. Oh and decides to choke Harvick for telling him what a shitty driver that he is.Oh wait he also almost took Dale Jr's hand off by slamming into his car in a nationwide race at Michigan because he slowed up and got his ass beat. He is a fucking PR master on camera and a fucking complete shithead off camera.another version of Michael Waltrip!!

  • Come on now.. This is flat out bullshit.. All of you banging on the 99 wagon are more blind than the Dale Jr. fans.. Which I happen to be one so I would know.. Carl came down on Brad at Dega as well as earlier in the Atlanta race. He wrecked Brad and Dale Jr. at the Nationwide race at Daytona earlier this year. Which also put dale Jr. on his roof. He almost punched his teammate Matt Kenseth on a live interview.!!

  • @gablej I basically say the same thing & someone gives me a thumbs down. Anyway, I'm giving you thumbs up on your posts because your comments are spot on.

  • Thanks for posting some high quality videos.

Watch at 0:07, when Edwards drops down into Keselowski's line without fully passing him. That's pretty much what happened early in the Kobalt race between the two with the result being Edwards running into Logano. Basically Carl has no one to blame but himself, then decides it's payback time.

The guy should be banned for three races, not put on probation.

  • 3 race probation what is that he cant race in bristol, martinsvile and phoenix?

  • All I know is that he will be able to race in those 3 races.

What I don't know is what he can and cannot do when he is under a probation.

  • @SlicedSmoke14 thanks now i'l do you a little think about it to you how think carl has to pay. for that anyone could respond any time

  • @SlicedSmoke14 i believe its just there can be no instances of "overly" aggressive driving....its all subjective though.....

  • @SlicedSmoke14 When a driver is on probation, he has to make sure that his car does not make contact with another car and intentionally wreck. Should NASCAR judge the contact intentional, the driver shall be suspended for a number of races.

  • IDK if anybody notices, but the rear decklid, which is where the wing is attached, actually lifts off the rear bumper, pretty much proving the wing creates lift.

  • this is the danger of cup racing, it's not just daytona and talladega now, here are the tracks where cars are going straight over 195 mph(the supposed point where cars can have blowovers): atlanta auto club charlotte chicagoland darlington daytona homestead indianapolis kansas michigan pocono watkins glen talladega texas
  • @anthonystuart69 oops, correction: watkins glen 185, but still fast enough in the right circumstances

  • Let's hope the new spoiler thats coming this year puts a end to cars flipping.

  • Indianapolis would be BAAAADDD, they do about 205-208 entering 1 and 3. With all those fans so close, that's a recipe for danger.

  • @anthonystuart69, what about Las Vegas? I saw in Jeff Gordon's qualifying run at the Shelby American that he was going over 195 mph.

  • @Sportsgamer92 true, i'm used to the flat vegas, i still don't reflexively think banked when i think of vegas

  • @TheGoodwill555 no shit

  • Love how everybody blows a crash like this out of proportion. It isnt the end of the world when a car goes over. No need to go insane just because he flipped over. Yeah, it was cool, but not monumental

  • they shouldnt interview a driver rite after he has flipped- only when he wants to

  • @rustyshackleford01 well a car has never gone airborn at a mile and a half track, it looks like a talladega crash

  • Um, yes they have, Geoff Bodine did it at Charlotte.

  • first of all, of course revenge is wrong and all that bullshit. of course carl should've considered the potentially disastrous outcomes. but everybody is fucking sick of keselowski's bullshit. it's pathetic and it's been going on across both series for far too long. it appalls me that nascar hasn't done anything about it. keselowski is immature and constantly refuses to take responsibility for his reckless actions. somebody has to set that kid straight cuz his shit is getting old real damn quick

  • i hate nascar but i love the racing but when Brad wrecks carl at talladega spring Kurt Busch Talladega Fall Denny Hamlin Mephis Nascar does nothing about brad

  • @guitarherobeast52 Brad didnt wreck carl, carl came down on brad at Dega

  • This is the second time in less than a year that Edwards has almost ended NASCAR racing in this country. I hope NASCAR throws the book at him and he pays very very high price for this stupid life threatening move.

  • Dirty: Bullshit- This sort of thing's been going on forever.

Those who give no respect, will get no respect.

If Brad thinks he can go around pushing guys around, and not get any payback, he's pretty naive.

  • @PERIZ99 brad was hard on the brakes at the time of contact in the first incident, he was giving carl room when carl refused to give him any. when you hear your spotter say "car low," where is the one place you should not aim your car? maybe...low?

  • i guess carl wanted to wreck brad real bad, huh?

  • Wow, Carl looked like he was on a mission to wreck Keso. 156 laps down and lets play psycho. Funny Carl didn't run a few innocent bystanders over to complete his mission. Nascar will take points away from him and fine him probably $25K. They don't suspend these guys anymore, that would kill their ratings. Unless he did it to JJ, Gordon or Stewart; that would be a different story. Rivalries are needed in this sport. Glad nobody got seriously hurt!

  • I always liked Carl Edwards, but I just lost a lot of respect for him. He should be suspended for multiple races. He essentially admitted it was intentional by saying him flipping was "not what I expected". If it wasn't intentional he had nothing to expect

  • trust me, you don't want carl to be penalized, no matter how much you hate him for this. these guys are professionals, they can sort it out by themselves. Also, penalizing would be bad for multiple reasons. First off, the sport needs a rivalry or attention BADLY. Remember the old days, nascar's glory days, where rubbin is racing? And second, penalizing him would make the sport look like F1. Nascar needs retaliation.

And Carl didn't know he would flip. Like, seriously, and at Atlanta?

  • Thank you! Someone who agrees!! I've been tellin people if they want the old NASCAR, BOOM, here ya go. Like it or not, NASCAR needs this.

  • yes! I'm watching all these videos of this crash and everyones complaining about carl and want him penalized. these people are obviously not long time, true nascar fans. if you complain and want carl penalized, you fail to realize nascar history, and that these are professionals that can handle themselves.

Everyone liked the rule changes to bring things "back to basics" with a "have at it boys" mentality. If you liked those changes but want Carl penalized, you're simply contradicting yourself.

  • thats true too but at these speeds it is unexceptable. rivals are apart of nascar and thats cool but he should of done it at bristol.

  • well when your on one of the fasted racetracks i nascar what the hell else to you expect to happen

  • Ironic that the free pass car is Denny Hamlin. XD

  • Seeing the near-crash the lap before, definitely Carl needs to be punished. That was 100% intentional. But is a half-mile short track the ideal place to suspend him from, rather than a fast speedway?

  • I lost all respect for Edwards today...both the 2009 flip at Dega and this flip are his fault. Being over 150 laps down and wrecking someone who is in 6th is ridiculous.

  • yea tite!! i never liked edwards since that dale jr thing in the nation wide series when he almost took his hand off!! and when he pushed his twam mate wtf is that bullshit
