How could Gene/Paul have Eric/Tommy in Peter's/Ace's make-up? It's simple-Peter has a difficult time being happy in the world he's made for himself and causes financial problems for KISS. Ace has a history of alcohol abuse and it's not advantageous and productive to have him on stage, if he gets there in time, and not performing well. What was Gene/Paul supposed to do just give up and not continue to do what they enjoy most? Would YOU give up what you love to do because of people who don't care?

I did not see one second of American Idol this year except for the finale, because KISS was on. Adam was excellent and actually I think he sounded like a good fill in for Freddie Mercury when he sang with Queen at the very end. No one has really been able to do that but I think Adam sounded great singing Queen. Either way KISS kicked ass which is the norm. I love when they go on shows like this and absolutely blow everyone away!! You wanted the best , you got the Best!
i was shocked to see kiss on american idol. ive seen pics of paul stanly with cyndi lauper in the press room...havent found any of the footage of it yet tho, if anyone happens to run across that let me know.
