I'd say research the origins of Mother's day, find out that cards and gifts are completely the opposite of what it's about and give your mom your time and ears to show your appreciation for all she does. Ask her about what it's like for her to be a mother, about her mother, about being a daughter, etc.

Another great idea is that on your birthday, send your mother a card or flowers and thank her for having you. I'm so glad I did this the last few years my mother was alive. It's just a another great way to show mom you appreciate her on another day besides Mother's Day.

Sorry, I know this comment was un-related to makeup and Mother's Day but I just loved this idea when I heard t and wanted to share it.

You can use the Infusium 23 leave in treatment, it comes in several formulas, I use the one in the white & teal bottle the moisturizing. Panten makes one too...or you can go to Sallys Stores and pick up a bottle of the leave in conditioner, it's a genaric brand usually compared to Matrix :)
