Die Diskusion hier bezüglich deutsche / englische Version ist echt zum aufregen und lachen zu gleich, aber um mal sachlich zu endscheiden wer nun recht hat muss man ja nur den Argumentationsgang betrachten:

Englisch:

Nichts, was jemals in eine andere Sprache übersetzt wurde war jemals besser, als das Englische Original.

Deutsch:

Meistens ist die Englische Version besser, aber in diesem Fall ist es nunmal die Deutsche.

Is klar :D

I'm not hating on it, I speak german, my point is that dubs are always just an afterthought, if i'm watching something in another language i would always prefer subtitles.

Your proposal would work against the concept of internationalization. internationalization is the process of making international products like the simpson available for all kinds of audience, including german viewers. Dubbing makes it easier to watch and access, hence supporting internationalization.

Problem with translating is German doesn't really have an equivalent for "Come here a minute"; translating it word-for-word (Komm hier eine Minute) doesn't really make sense. So they say "Come here".
