  • oh good lord Kenji Kawai did the musicon this man hes everywhere!

  • i like how the ending credits music is the almost exactly the same as part of the game over/continue music for Super R-Type on the SNES..

  • This DIDn't work with my XP7 powerjet. Still, it IS one of my faves from the past.

  • "Well then, he got his wish because we ARE going in."

  • If the world ever NEEDS saving inside the next 60 years, it's going to be up to us. Look at these things. Captain power. JI Joe. He-Man. Thunder Cats. Voltron. Ghost busters. Dinosaucers. Christ, TAIL SPIN has a bigger set than anything coming out now.

What world can people reared on SPONGE BOB -possibly- SAVE?

  • I just hope this works with my XP7

  • How hard would it be for someone to recreate these missions using the engine from Star Fox 64? Or perhaps Terminal Velocity?

  • hey soarron; kiss my afterberner >=b B)

  • Pray for Japan.

  • @Skull10: The interlocker was awkward to use, but I often "flew" a Phantom Striker on the logic that it would be easier for Power to capture the odd Phantom Striker than it would be to manufacture XT-7s. He could not have had many of those at all. In the live action series I only recall him have one. Course, Dread only had one Phantom Striker in the live action, too. Heh. Still, I think you can see my point.

  • Soaron was a badass

  • You know, looking back at this. The animation looks almost exactly like the animation used in the 1987 Transformers Animated Movie.

I could be wrong though, but it looks and sounds the same.

  • @Waxer3929

it was animated in Japan, the style of it reminds me of Projext Ako and Tank Police

  • @DangerousD6969 i think artmic of japan made some of the designs.

  • Pure poetry... Ifeel like a child again.

  • Check your Power Points.

  • Let's see, if I remember, you shot the red stuff and ducked away from the yellow.

  • It was bloody annoying when your figure got ejected, and usually took you by surprise as there was no warning when you were close to getting "destroyed".

  • @Skull10 I had one of the Interlockers where you could just press a button and it'd show your power points instantly while you played. It also had a sensor in it that would give you a + symbol (or close to it) that would award you with a power point when you pressed it. Interlockers were the easiest to use as you'd know when to shoot and when to evade.

  • I had an Interlocker too (actually I had EVERYTHING from the line), but I never thought it made sense to use it with the training episodes, it being Dread's vehicle.

  • @moonshock

I had all three of the vehicles....and I have to say the Interlocker was by far the best one to use with these videos....the XT-7...for some reason never really worked right with them. That said....all the bells and whistles on the Interlocker toy almost made it OP, looking back.

I always favored bad guy toys as a kid, though...so I had no moral (or logical) objection to using them. : )

  • All the flashing colours fucking hurt my eyes so hard :S

  • my favorite part start at 5:48

  • i love the phantom striker. awesome ass fighter.

  • dumbass it was the "training video" that came with the ship. to give you an idea of how to use the ship gun when you watched the TV show.

  • Sauron is the shit.

  • Hellz YEAH he is!

  • i remember this show, cool game to.

  • Damn, I miss the 80s.

  • CHECK YOUR POWER POINTS!!! DONT GET DIGITIZED AHHHHHH. *shields his little captain power plane thingy from the tv blasts*

  • did anybody know how to play the video game that came out from captain power.

  • Man, I loved Captain Power. Best show ever. Blastarr was my favorite.

  • I LOVE the animation here. I've only seen the second and third

videos so this was new to me.

    I <3 Artmic/AIC!

  • i had these vids the xt7 and phantom striker too awsome they need to come back (IS SOMEONE OUT THERE HEARING ME)

  • Was hoping Sauron would be more show accurate

  • He was Toy accurate, if I recall.

  • A shame the toy didn't look as much as the show version as it could, then again most of the figures were inaccurate. Did they come before or after the show was conceived

  • You mean "Soaron", not to be confused with "Sauron", the dark lord of Tolkien's little trilogy.

  • @Skull10 IIRC, wasn't there a Soaron in X-Men? He was a half-man, half-pterodactyl mutant from the Savage Land who had the same absorbing powers as Rouge.

  • cool video, i used to have these videos with the powerjet, i was a big laser tag fan and jumped on these toys along with the videos big time

  • 0.o the colors!

  • wow...

it's a good thing your enemy is really stupid

  • Guys i have a question from Aki umemoto if you find him here is my question.

Aki is this your 1st time you making the animation. Are you sure is very hard or what?

  • Wow, finally someone posted this stuff, I think I still have the black one in my attic somewhere.....very nice...

  • this was mostly just a traning promo video per say for the series, this was awesome, i knew somone would post this on youtube, i remember playing the captain power toys at the tv and get points on how many phantom strikers would get down - and it innovative for the time

  • Interresting, was this an animated series?

Or just a short produced to firing to the sceeb

This was a very hard work, there are tons of vanishing points, to diffcult to do with out a pc.

  • trhe series was live action, the video as you can see is mostly animated but has some live action scenes, with power, and lord dread...
