Well, I am a female in a wheelchair. I went to school, got an education, and became a forensic psych. I was to proud to take any gov $. I got no grants for college. I have never taken disability. I toughed it out. My point being, if someone can't make it in this country they are either lazy or are doing something wrong. It is easy to survive in this country and with a little effort anyone can become successful. Lots of people just whine and do nothing to better their own situation.
The funny thing is the constitution says nothing about redistribution of wealth yet you still feel entitled to the money earned by others. I was working class for years and paid my way through college and did fine on my own and you tell me the working class is helpless? Sounds like you need to get our of your bubble. The constitution provides the means for people to put for the EFFORT to become successful, it does not grant you success. By the way; rich donate more than anyone in this country
Actually I am not rich at all and I have never felt entitled to anyone's wealth. I never said my father was rich, rather he is successful. I am sorry but most of the "poor" in this country have all the commodities of life that would be a king's ransom in third world countries like the Congo. I don't have any trust fund and in fact my grandfather gambled away the family fortune, (which was earned the same way the kennedy family earned thiers.)
Rich hoard all the money eh. Well my father used to be immersed in the deepest poverty, but guess what? He put effort into his life, went to college took risks in business and ultimately helped design the B2 stealth bomber, has several inventions on the market and has become very successful. Case in point? Nobody is responsible for fueling the working class' entitlement agenda. It is the responsibility of individuals to put forth effort if they want to get rich too. Read the constitution.
Churches divide the culture ironically beneath the fist of conformity, fuck them they don't need charity, I'll donate to non-religion based affiliations, thanks.
Glenn is correct here! I wil cut down my giving because the govt. has inceased taxes and reduced the deductions. There is only so much to go around. Big Govt becomes a money eating machine and it has to get it from the people. So the poor will suffer even more and people outside the US are going to feel it the most.
Borderline evil? No, just the horse's nose inside the tent. The day will come when charitable deductions are eliminated and charities taxed. After that, the outright persecution of Christians and other charitable people will follow. Of course it will be masked under commerce laws (they didn't receive the 666 mark, they aren't registered) just like the Chi-Comms have done for decades.
I'm a middle aged, partly disabled, white, veteran with a plan to help out with the health care problems.
the problem is I'm currenly homeless, and Obama does no supply and help, and Charities now don't have any honey to help.
its Pathetic... but then again it's a mirror of Obama's policies
