I like the English version. When I taught in Thailand, the Thai staff wanted an English version of the Loy Krathong song for the kids to sing during the school assembly. This version is better than the one we did a few years ago. Well done and close enough to the Thai original.
I'm a volunteer in Thailand, and here the Thai people enjoy this song, especially in english teaching. It also allows the foreigners to sing together, since this is THE traditionnal song for this day.
