Whenever I drive around and see Honda vehicles, I always think about this bike.  Such a disappointment that Guam used to have a Honda bike dealer.

08 1000rr hands down the 07 rr was not as fast as the other 1k but with the 08 it blows any other 1k out of the water even the 1098

1098 is pretty intense though. If you know how to ride a V-twin and are willing to put some work into finding the right suspension set-up, the 1098 is better on the track

i think 1098 is an ok bike but it just feels heavy to me. The new 1000rr is so easy to go from extreme bank one way to extreme lean the other way. I mean i know this gets said a lot but the 1000rr does feel like a 600 with 1000cc of displacement.

the fireblade and R1 are both awesome bikes u can't really go wrong with any of them...it's really up to you which one u'd go for. PERSONALLY i'd go for the 08 fireblade simply because it's so fcking light 199kg (wet) says honda...and it feels like 600 when u sit on it. But the R1 does look a lot better though i have to say lol =D

ride the 08 blade for half a day the other day (my 07 600RR in for service). it really is amazingly light and nimble - even compared to my 07 600RR, its very very close - except with a lot more low down power. upgrading next year :)

my friend has a new cbr 2008,and he was drag-racing with a suzuki gsx-r1000 2008 with akrapovic full race exhaust sistem,an suzuki had no chance...stock honda cbr vs. suzuki gsx with akrapovic...honda winns. ;)

the make of the bike makes no diff, the rider does

in a straight line, the lteast cbr is supposed to have a lil stronger motor than the gsxr and zx10

but still the irders makes the diff

Yeah it depends on the rider but based on what I read,the zx10 still has more power.

They said honda is king for 2008 cause its good for both track and the streets.Its all about the rider though.I perfer the ninja.

In person - the 08 1000RR looks like a whole other class from the previous models.. it has the ducati looks but the key here is the mid-range (usable) power is the best period look at the dyno compare- R1 looks very very nice but i can only have one! and which -ONE- did i get?? this new honda is going to make the old honda body sytles out dated in a few years

cool, i have the pearl orange 2008 600rr. I really didn't like the looks of the 2008 1000rr but all the specs make up for the cosmetics.  This bike is awesome, and I'm not biast. Suzuki has some badass bikes too. Its all about personal preference really.
