@vanheineken Listen. When it's 3.45pm, and you're not even halfway through the afternoon session in the office, and your eyes are streaming from having stared at a computer terminal since 9am, and the sandwich you ate at lunch is urging you to just fall asleep at your desk, then you are glad of something horrible, abrasive and alert to wake you up. That's just one reason why I love Nels Cline's playing. (Pat Metheny's 'zero tolerance for silence' is underrated for the same reason.)
