What a drag to link a great song to a really dirty city. This is the good parts. You haven't smelled the urine down Market or the sewer smells down by Union Square, and the rancid smell waters of the bay, or the homeless all over the city. Worse than any big city I've seen and I've been all over.

I've lived in the city my entire life and not once have I ever had any problems with pollution. The sky's of San Francisco are not polluted. In fact, its usually clear as crystal unless we have fog coming in from the bay. Los Angeles is the city with such problems. You are a fucking idiot my friend, a dumb fucking idiot.
I remember a particular Monday Night Football game in San Francisco several years ago. Right before the game started it got completely quiet and they played this song while giving different panoramic views of San Fran. It was very impressive.
I can understand how you feel about missing San Francisco. I miss it, as well, and wish I was back home there. I was born and raised in San Francisco. It's my hometown, as well.
I love visiting frisco when i visit my family in the bay area every summer i will take my nieces and nephews to the pier! and it's so beautiful! thanks for the memories!!
I live in the city where I was born and raised (Seattle), but my fondest years and best memories were made during the 12 years I spent in San Francisco after college.
This great song always made me proud about beautiful San Francisco. Journey was a great band. Even though I was pretty small when this song came out, I liked it. KFRC AM Radio even used this music as one of their promos. It was good being a kid in those years.
