  • @47KLIKTEVAU "Delta Queen"

  • Thanks to all American, British, Polish, etc. troops fighting in Afghanistan. You're all heroes in my book.

    Greetings from America.

  • It's a MK3 Chinook so not British we also use EAP's units in desert conditions and this cab doesn't have any suggesting probably American or Dutch

  • @compo702 The RAF are upgrading their Chinooks from HC2's to HC3A's. Full Glass Cockpit, Improved Engines & Airframe. Hoping to have 50% of the RAF's Chinook fleet done by 2020

  • watch?v=v9pA4I606No&feature=related this is it

  • 22sqd RAF.

  • 22 sqd fly sea kings

    Your thinking of 27

    Its dutch anyway.

  • @computersANDstuff 22 Sqn ???? Where did you get that from !! 22 Sqn is a Search And Rescue Sqn !! 'A Flight' is based at RMB Chivenor which is about a 20 Min drive from where i live. The RAF's Chinook Sqn's are 7 Sqn & 18 Sqn both based at RAF Odiham in Hampshire

  • Afghanistan's lakes are small in size and number, but include Lake Zarkol in the Vakhan Corridor along the Tajikistan border, Shiveh in Badakhshan, and the saline Lake Istadeh-ye Moqor, located south of Ghazni.

  • The long Helmand River rises in the central Hindu Kush, crosses the southwest of the country, and ends in Iran. It is used extensively for irrigation and agriculture, although in recent years its water has experienced a progressive build up of mineral salts, which has decreased its usefulness. Most of the rivers end in inland seas, swamps, or salt flats; the Kabul River is an exception. It flows east into Pakistan to join the Indus River, which empties into the Indian Ocean.

  • Many of Afghanistan's major rivers are fed by mountain streams. The Amu Darya on the northern frontier has a number of significant tributaries that rise in the eastern Hindu Kush. It is the only navigable river in Afghanistan, though ferry boats can cross the deeper areas of other rivers. The Harirud River rises in central Afghanistan and flows to the west and northwest to form part of the border with Iran.

  • there are sbs because the chinook is a raf chinook you can tell by the round badge at 00:06 look round abouts the BACK you can see the raf badge

  • Doesn't mean jack shit, just means the helicopter is British, units from other countries do cross-train you know.

Even if the troops were British, they could still be SAS boat troops.

  • Who's to say it's not red, white and blue? Also round badge, but not RAF. You simply cannot tell. Quality is too bad.

  • haha.i wouldnt have beieved it if i didnt see it.whatever it takes to get the job done i spose.
