I've just come back from KIEV and it was quite nice... but police are very strange, wanted to rip me off.... will never forget, though the people of the streets are really kinde to us-I mean to western people.... anyway I do prefer Moscow...and Russia in geeral!! Anyway Ukraine is worth a visit!

Kyiv is Ukrainian city - the Russians and fascists all tried to convert Ukraine but failed - they left behind a legacy of problems in Ukraine - example is this video which features Russian labels and music - Kyiv is not Russian

Nice video - however the correct English spelling of the Ukrainian Capital is Kyiv - you should find that all informed and new sources are slowly adopting the correct English spelling Kyiv. The Russian name Kiev was enforced in Ukraine during soviet/russian repression and is no longer the correct and legal name since Ukraine gained its independace from the tyranny of Russia.

Thank you for showing the different parts of Kiev. There are so many videos of just the pretty touristy places and they never show the ordinary. I love the beautiful and the ugly in Kiev.

the composer is Andrei Petrov. This is soundtrack from soviet crime comedy "Beregis Avtomobilya" ( "Watch out for the Automobile", US title). This is really great!!!
