I LOVED this game! I knew the (in game) cheat code for endless breath and HP, picking any level you wanted, and you could even teleport yourself around the map! XD
this is my all time favorite Sega game EVAR!! i still have the game :D but my Sega genesis has seen better days. the adapter is broken and i can't get it replaced sadly. bit man was this game fun... and hard. i remember just sitting in my room with this game. XP good times.
I own the sega cd version of ecco the dolphin: tides of time. and a really cool bonus feature I learned about (only on sega cd) if u take the cd and put it in a cd player then turn it to track 1, u can here all the music from the game. be warned, if u try playing track 1, all u will get is this real annoying screeching sound. there r 17 tracks in all and only 2 through 17 r playable.
The music in this game is so kick ass. I used to have a Genesis when I was little an I really miss playing those games. I might have to get this PS2 collection. :D
@mistertitanic All you have to do is point either right or left with your nose, and then, press *and hold* the sonar button. It's important you hold after pressing. Then the echolocation map will activate and you will see your location.
The echo games had beautiful graphics but they were too hard. Too bad Tides of time didn't get a Sega CD version like the original. The sound on Ecco CD is great. The genesis didn't have great sound.
I remember first playing that on Xbox360 then I went down to were there were bubbles so then I got though it and tried to go on the other side then there was this other dolphin I ran into. I went up so did he. I tried to dash and so did he. I did the echolocation thingy. He said something then he went up after i talked to him he went up into the rocks without bumping into d rock. strange huh? is it supposed to do with some mystery?
@MetalRulesDan Not sure if you ever got past it, but there's a bunch of walkthroughs on youtube. A more funnier one is Hidenozuke's. He's actually listed beside this vid.
