He occasionally wrestled, worked as a color commentator and cohost of Radio WWF, and, behind the scenes, worked as the associate producer for Monday Night Raw. So they knew exactly what Raven was, and what he was bringing to the table, but the market was saturated when he was in WWE with the Raven character, so he got left behind. Unfortunately, he's too old to go back and get a contract now.
