  • That shaker hood was about as cool as they got. Love this car and the color, and the sound of that Hemi.

  • someone knows the song at the beginning? Please tell me if you know. It's really cool.

  • someone knows at the beginning? Please tell me if you know. It's really cool.

  • @kurommmm .....Well.........it's definitely by Jimi Hendrix.

  • just just just just gonna cry.... i want that car :(

  • Check that horn. One of three, and they think the potential buyer is going to pass if the horn is broken. Gay! Thats the same mentality as amatuers who call me about a super rare big block motor and ask if I know how many miles the car had that it came out of. Who the fuck cares! Douches.

  • Wow... that is one gorgeous machine my friend....I think I may have pulled a groin muscle. lol

  • loving car

  • just sit there drink beer and listen the engine runing

    damn good work guys

  • fuck i wish i was rich

  • Oh bye the way Jimi was playin thru the factory option 8-track four speaker system and I was trippin my balls off. I finished the night with a hot skanky blond in the back seat at the cemetery. Her drippings ran down the seat cushion staining the vaunted build sheet. Next time you matching numbers losers see a stained build sheet have a sniff. I bet it smells like 17 and thats as close as you'll ever get.

  • @Tarten46Awsome, putting these yuppie pussy douchebag losers in their place. You can't be the all american boy making real memories brokering off big blocks to foreign faggots. Mabey while these homos are shipping our cars out we should visit their wives are see if all of their numbers match under the hood.

  • Bend over motors where were ready to pimp this American treasure to any foreign country in the name of allmighty profit. You can sell the car but you cant sell 17 years old, a couple of hits of blotter acid, and a night of pounding that bitch down the local back road quarter mile. I did it. I got it on file and there aint enough money in the world to buy it.

  • god wants his car back

  • does the door ajar buzzer work?

  • this car should be in the usa !!

  • i love dat car but whts wit dem urgly rims

  • i would sit down and cry if someone where to buy this for me

  • that sound is the best music in the world. I would give my life for to ride this car :)

  • best...idle...ever

  • Hemi Challenger are my favorite muscle car!

  • awesume ride!

love the paint, and the rims, and the tires, and, and, and....

and of course that big HEMI! The guy at 2:27 tells the truth..

    A REAL muscla car!

Is it jimi hendrix at the beginning? what's the name of this song?

  • damn put in a auction and get about 200,000 for it at a well known auction

  • tap that horn??? NO. HOW ABOUT MASH THAT GAS!!!

  • @SixHundredHP too much people would kill for that car... that'd mean lots of sacrificing. still, dying for a challenger is dying in honour.

  • To the current owner of this car, do you want my left or right nut for this car. Or both. Im being serious lol.

  • you didnt show the engine how convient too bad anyone can put 426 badges on a 440 and the sure as hell didnt sound like a hemi nice try buddy fraud

  • that is what cool sounds like in stereo111

  • Sweet, but those exhaust tips stick out quite far. What's the build date I wonder? I hear after 09/69, can't get a Shaker hood on a '70.

  • 2:54 to 3:02 used 3 gallons! :D:D:D:D

  • how much did you sell it for??

  • LoL, radio works but only plays country! Thats some finery I would buy if I had the money.

  • is this car worth 500k?

  • Do you except Blojobs as a method of Payment? Never done it... but willing to try for a HEMI Challenger

  • that cam must be different

  • suh-weet!

  • Take a look at the May 2010 issue of "Muscle Car Review" and this car is in it.

Even prettier than I remember it. Man what I would give to own that fricking car!!!

  • How much did u get for it? What was the original asking price? Thanks!

  • Gorgeous car. The only thing the video lacks is some pix of that magnificent elephant motor! After all, the Hemi is the car's heart and soul.

  • I saw this car in person recently and it is truly one of the nicest Hemi cars I have ever seen. Don't know what the owner paid for it but it is incredible.....I'd give me left n.. for this beauty...

  • Great, the blinkers work.

Now, let's burn some rubber old man.

  • amen brother lol

  • absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @chieftrain92 man i like camaros more than challengers but bottom line camaros are alot more common so i would get a challenger youll always be able to get a camaro

  • the 1970 chevelle ss is also an awesome car

  • Ditch the resonators !

  • we used to own a 1970 hemi challenger convertible, we sold it...so SAD:(:(:(

  • I love this car. I have to think about what I want. A 1969 Chevrolet Camaro 396 SS oder a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT Hemi. What can you advice?

  • ale szybko PL

  • nice HEMI that challenger souds good idleing

  • can you will me the great ride???

  • bad wheels i like the stock wheels (they look like steel wheels)

  • they are steel wheels.

Obviously the wheels that came with the car.

Try and price a set of steel wheels for a hemi car. Swoon when you see the price tag.

  • That car is amazing, very nice man!

  • So funny to read the comments for a video like this! "My ____ (fill in blank) has/had one just like this" and so on. Amusing.

  • my car looked exactly like this one. i had one 1970 challenger i put all the RT package on it. i mean all of it. except for the shaker hood and hemi motor that is. i had 3 challengers one was a RT with rust so i put all the rt package on my regular challenger. it looked as good as this one. i had the special hood also , not shacker

  • me want... and ulys rite.. that is NOT some rice burner... thats a REAL car- with a real nascar motor...

KING PETTY won 27 STRIGHT nascar wins with one of them!

  • Davidslite...you are the one who knows nothing...the sound that car makes is exactly how a Hemi should sound and yes the cam you hear is how they came froim the factory.

  • sounds soo good

  • did they have that aggressive cam stock?

  • it sounds like firecrackers o.o

    or m80's.

i wish it sounded throatier. :\

  • Patrick sorry but i'm going to have to agree with Dragon150043 I can't let you export this beauty out of the states so i'm here to make you an offer?...A heads up race my beast vs. your Challenger for pinks winner takes all!....You feelin lucky?

  • I cant believe you would even consider exporting this car.

  • Unless you consider selling the car to Seattle exporting, you have no worries.

  • Oh thank god! A priceless American muscle car like this needs to stay within the borders.

  • @showyourautotv you mean to say this car, was exported to my city?!?!?

  • i'd give my first born child for one of those

  • hahaha

  • Nothing will ever beat the sound of an idling 426

  • the sound of that car is juss...sexy!

  • Got 1/24 copy on my table, exactly the same colours :)

  • Very few Hemi Challengers got shaker hoods because of a production problem with the bubble top. Only three 4spds are left known to exists that are documented by their broadcast sheet. Most others are dealer add-ons or owner add-ons with no "N96" notation on the fender tag or track sheet.

  • lol.....not even close

  • They made approx. 300 hemi challengers in 1970 (exact number depends on your source). Out of all those, only 3 where shaker / 4spd-s? Doesn't sound right.

  • Probably made more then 3...

But there are only three fully original ones left that are documented.

  • Pure Badass. I have always wanted a plum crazy HEMI. No matter if its a Challenger, a Cuda' , or a GTX. Mopar for Life!

  • "only plays country"...that's hilarious! That is one sweet car.

  • nice car..... thats funny my 72 buick skylark horn sounds the same i wonder if a ford horn sounds the same to lol.......

  • Probably they are all the same Letter Note.. That would be my best guess

  • Holy Cr..!!

    Words fail me...

Most badass combo of muscle and appeal ever...

Not many of these beauties left now, and this one looks too good to be true...

Thank you for posting this clip. My heart was beating a bit like the sounds coming out the tailpipes. Only a carburator fed hemi can make a sound like that. Best sound in the world!!

  • I found a challenger for sale today but Im not gonna tell where it is becuase somebody is probably gonna buy it before I can save the money for it :( *crys in corner* jk

  • i literally got chills listening to this car.

there is NO other sound in the world that is like a Hemi engine.

  • Of all the 426 Hemi cars I have seen this has got to be one of the absolute best. That ORIGINAL Shaker is incredible. 4-Speed to boot.....No ricer ever sounded like that I GUARANTEE you...

  • it´s a veryvery very beautifull car!!

  • My dream is to get a 1970 Dodge Challenger SE or R/T with a fuel-injected 440 Magnum or 426 Hemi, put on a supercharger sticking out of the hood (looks awesome), do a ton of machine work on the engine to get extra horse power, get an auto transmission with a slap stick shifter, put in anti-sway bar suspension, racing tires, custom rims, a good sound system, new air conditioning, new interior and seats, and paint it orange or yellow with the top painted black.

  • You could compare this machine to say like fucking a fine ass woman in the cornhole!

  • Why settle for the cornhole if you can go for the meat socket LOL.

  • LMFAO....To funny alright you got me but i wish to skip the meat socket that sounds like pain women only for me pal....LOL.But you sure do have a beautiful car though has it been sold?

  • Wow that Hemi engine sounds awesome at at idle. Like sex to my ears LOL.

  • nice car but how can you call ur self a muscle car type of guy when ur selling something like this? if god took a form ofa car it would b this...props for the car big thumbs down for selling it.. unless of course u sell it to me ;)

  • My father, back in the good old days, owned a 73 Barracuda, it was his pride and joy, he also had five more Barracudas (different years), he ended up getting married and scrapped all his other cars except for his 73. So one day he decided to build a house for his growing family, his wife told him," You can sell that waste of space and get another old car later." So, that's what he did, sold the thing for only $500, she had a Hemi, no rust, 100% original, had only 43,211 miles!!!!!

  • 1godfather01:

Was no cudas in 73 with hemis in them. Last ones were made in 71. In 73 you could have her with a 318 or a 340, and that was it. Must be something off with your information. If she had a hemi and was a 100% original, then it would be from 70 or 71...

  • I know i know, i been getting this a lot, i was high when i wrote that lmao, what i meant to say is he converted it to a Hemi engine but the rest of the car was 100% original, sorry saror71.

  • LOL!!

  • interesting a shaker challenger, it maty be rare but a 440 magnum twin scoop is much more my style in panther pink or raylle red

  • haha that's a great one to use at my next car show!!

  • he needs to idle the carbs up a tick to stop the flutter.

  • hemiphil81:

You are dead wrong. That is just how this car should sound.

  • listen to that thing suck air lol

  • Okay... I'm putting my soul, a kidney, and my next three children up for sale on eBay. I'll get back to you if they sell.

My God, that thing's perfect in every way.

  • instead of country how about some "Deep Purple" Highway Star ?

  • There are some things you can't put a price on. This very well may be one of them.

  • i just came

  • I love that car more than my ex-wife.

    (wives)

  • lol...ha larious.

  • Good ;D

  • yeah mines only got a 318 : (

  • my friend has a challenger with a 426

it didnt come with one but he some how got one and put it in there

  • beautiful beautiful car...wow that is a piece of art..a window look back to how they built cars in the seventies

  • GOD THAT'S HOT

  • I wouldn't be selling it myself, she's too beautiful to sell.

  • "the radio works, but plays only country"

->who cares about radio?? the engine sound is louder and (!) nicer anyway...

its made for the street! if i had it, i would rather die in it than selling it...

  • ohhh what a beauty!!

  • how much?

  • Need to take that to Barret Jackson could catch yourself a good load of money. If that were mine though ide take it to the grave with me

  • If it's a pro resto and all matching numbers, my guess is $650,000

  • I'm cumming buckets.

  • It's great to see you actually enjoy it by driving it

  • sounds like shes crackin the pavement.

  • damn shes beautiful

  • What makes this a 1 of 3? There has got to be something unique about this 70 Hemi R/T Challenger besides the FC7 paint.

  • One of 3 DOCUMENTED Shakerhood HEMI 4spd Challengers produced in 1970 of any color combination.

  • This car is unbelivably beautiful

  • That`s because contry is good music

  • I love that car , engine and the paint of that . To me the Plum Crazy is the best Colour on a Mopar

  • Mopar or no car baby!

  • That 70 N-96 is incredible! Mine's a Red/White 70 N-96, 4-speed, Dana, 440 SixPack.

  • two of this models is in sweden of all seventen. one of them in my town:)

  • i look at that car and think purple haze all in my eyes
