  • YES INDEED, A TOUCHING MOVIE, BUT JUST THAT "A MOVIE" CREATED TO PROVOKE AN EMOTIONAL RESPONSE FROM THE VIEWER, WHICH IN THIS CASE IS FROM FEMALES AND THEIR MATURNAL INSTINCTS, WHICH CAN BE THEIR DOWNFALL.

IF YOU ARE AFFECTED BY THIS MOVIE, THEN THE PRODUCERS/DIRECTORS AND ACTORS DID THEIR JOB...NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THE GOVERNMENT DOES DURING ELECTION TIME, OH, HOW THE FEMALES "LOVED OBAMA" YET NOW AFTER ALL THE PC BULLSHIT, FEMALES ARE NOT AS TAKEN BY HIM, HENCE THE MEDIA DOCTORS.

  • @MrSilicon605 YOU PEOPLE (MAINLY IMPRESSIONABLE FEMALES) WANT TO RY FOR SOMETHING, CRY FOR THE SERVICE PEOPLE OR COMMENT ON THEM HERE AS A SHOW OF DICONNECTING YOUR EMOTIONAL SELF FROM THIS MOVIE (WHICH IS NOT REALITY) TO ACTUAL REALITY WHERE MOTHER'S HAVE LOST THEIR SONS IN WAR IN THE LAST FEW YEARS!

IT IS AMUSING HOW PEOPLE COMMENT ON A MOVIE, SUCH AS THIS, YET CAN'T DETACH THEMSELVES AS I HAVE AND MAINTAIN REALITY ABOUT WHAT IS TRULY WORTH BEING SAD ABOUT.

  • @MrSilicon605 OF COURSE, FEMALES WILL BE DRWN MORE INTO THIS MOVIES PLOT BECAUSE WOMEN ARE "FAR TO EMOTIONAL FOR THEIR OWN GOOD) AND MANY TIMES END UP BEING HURT BY THEIR POOR CHOICES IN LIFE AS A RESULT OF NOT CONTROLLING THEIR "FEELINGS".

THAT IS WHAT MAKES WOMEN TRULY WEAK AND NOT WORTHY OF EQUALITY WITH MEN, UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THEY ARE ABLE TO HOLD BACK THE TIDE OF FALLING INTO PRE-FABRICATED EMOTIONALLY PRODUCED MOVIES WHICH "CONDITION WOMEN" TO THINK A CERTAIN WAY FROM ANOTHER.

  • @MrSilicon605 WHAT SHOULD YOU FEEL SAD FOR OR WHOM? HOW ABOUT THE KIDS WHOM HAVE PERISHED OVERSEAS IN WAR, DESPITE THEIR ETHNIC BACKGROUND, FOR WHICH THEY DID NOT CHOOSE TO BE A MUSLIM, JEW, GERMAN ETC, BUT WERE EXTERMINATED ALL THE SAME?

MOVIES ARE FINE, JUST SO LONG AS THEY DON'T TRY TO INFLUENCE PEOPLE TI THINK ONE WAY OVER PERHAPS ANOTHER, AS IN MINE, WHICH IS NOT PRONE TO FALLING FOR CONTROLLING MEDIA BULLSHIT TO MAKE ME BEHAVE IN A DIFFERENT MANNER B4 I WATCHED SUCH FILM.

  • @MrSilicon605 SPEAK TO ANY WW2 VETERAN (MALE) ABOUT THE HORRORS OF WAR AND YOU SHALL REALIZE HOW SILLY IT IS TO BE AFFECTED SO MUCH BY A FABRICATED MOVIE, WHICH SHOWS LITTLE SEMBLANCE OF THE ACTUAL "REAL HUMAN CONDITION".

PURE FANTASY, THIS MOVIE, WHILE VERY WELL MADE, STILL BULLSHIT COMPARED TO HE ACTUAL SUFFERING GOING ON GLOBALLY EVEN AS I WRITE THIS.

INCIDENTLY, EVERY 12 SECONDS, A PERSON DIES IN THE US, THAT IS SOMETHING TO CRY ABOUT, AS IT IS "REAL!".

    INBOX REPLIES NOT READ.

  • @MrSilicon605 You obviously aren't the imaginative, creative, or think-outside-the-box type of person. You're a realist. Good for you.

  • @MrSilicon605 What are you rambling on about? This movie doesn't just potray a womans maternal instincts and a boys love. It makes us question ourselves, what makes someone human? If a machine can be made to feel and love and dream, that what really seperates us from machines? That's what is interesting about this movie. I think you're using this innocent movie to go on some crazy political tirade...Take your bullshit elsewhere.

  • @MrSilicon605 I just realized it was a waste to reply to you. Looking at your youtube you're nothing more then a hate mongering sexist. I do stand behind my statement of telling you to take your psychotic ramblings elsewhere.

  • Giant forehead. Check. Cardboard acting skills. Check. Transparent emotional output. Check.

  • I'd never taught I'd say this, but I hate the human kid, that kid ain't no human but a pest!

  • CHILD IN A COMA I KNOW I KNOW IT'S REALLY SERIOUS

  • @AnonymousMarblecake Heh... I see what you did there... Good job..

  • A lot of viewers are really bothered when she abandoned David in the forest, but I always tell them to keep watching - it gets so much better.

  • I ccried and I am 14 man I love this movie

  • @darkhunter2233 Let's see. Cried uncontrollably during the one harry potter when robert pattison dies and the dad goes "my boy.....". Cried uncontrollably during the bridge to terebithia where the girl dies and he finds out. Just bawled. And I'm a guy and considerably older than 14....

  • @richardthewriter You mean *gasp* you have emotions and you're a guy? While the rest of the world shuns you for it, there are few many and considerably more women (myself included) who join you in clutching a box of tissues while watching these movies. I raise my damp tissue to you.

  • @JBicks18 "soaked" tissue. though I actually used my sleeve but yeah

  • I cried, and im just a 12 yr old boy.. :(

  • @takethatorelse no shame in crying. real men are not afraid to show emotion. and fyi women LOVE men who are not afraid to cry.

  • @richardthewriter DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION AT THE TIME... TRY NOT TO LEAVE THAT OUT NEXT TIME, HMMM?

  • @MrSilicon605 are you stupid? I mean seriously. Looking at these comments you are just picking fights with everyone... thats hilarious.....LOLOLOLOL. For your information I could give a rats ass what you think of what I said and I'm not even sure what it is you are BITCHING about because I said a couple of things in here, moron....

  • @takethatorelse YOU DON'T KNOW TRUE SORROW YET, OR PERHAPS WILL NOT EVER...YOU AR STILL UNDER PARENT/PARENTS WING AND CAN COMFORTABLY BE HOWEVER YOU CHOOSE EMOTIONALLY, UNTIL SUCH TIME AS YOU HAVE TO CURVE YOUR EMOTIONS...THIS HAPPENS WHEN YOU BECOME AN ADULT.

  • This is one kind movie, which is never forgettable. One of different kind of movie I have watched.

  • Omg!...I cried..and I am 13 embarrassing..the kid is so cute and a good actor(;good movie.thanks for the upload(;

  • this boy is a really good actor!

  • Its a lot like life. Its wrong to make them, yet its wrong to kill them. so much suffering

  • @Juanofakind88 This movie by no stretch can be called a *great* film only deeply flawed scenes wrote out for soccer moms and xbots alike (immature juvenile delinquents). Truth is the truth and supersedes all.

  • Roger that

  • Someone said this movie was shit... so I didnt bother watching it.. I saw it on youtube n thought why not.... my thoughts?....A MAGICAL AND POWERFUL TALE THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

  • I am grateful for having given me to know another movie with the signature of Stanley Kubrick.

  • Poor David :'(

  • this is an insanely creepy movie...but its cool

  • movie made no sense, i was waiting for it to make sense but it never came

  • What makes this movie so good and so touching is the pure innocence of it. Throughout the entire movie we're following David, who, being a child has such a keen and eager, yet innocent and naive view on the world around him. David never steps a foot out of line the entire movie and that's why it's so difficult to watch so many bad things happen to him, because we, the audience know it's not fair and not just and we expect there to be a degree of mercy that never comes. That's how it gets me.

  • Gah i just cried a lot :'(

  • I was 5-6 years old when I watch this movie first, but I couldn't understand a point, cuz it was on English I amn't English speaker but nevertheless this movie made big impression on me, I was often thinking about that boy and about movie in that years.

Today I was just bored and was thinking on my childhood, and suddenly I Don't know how but I start thinking about this movie, after almost 10 year :D then it was big deal for me to find out name of movie but thank you google

    I am crying now :(

  • Thank you for uploading this! It was really beautiful.

  • Thank you so much.

  • that little kid what a cunt

  • I would find it so easy to 'shut down' that little robot...It is not a real thing, just an anthropomorphized toaster

  • @ENTERRAPTURE20 GEORGE CARLIN:RELIGION IS BULLSHIT OR PAT CONDELL:THE FAITH OF IDIOTS ....RT BACK AT U KID

  • This made me cry. I'm a boy so that's weird.

  • "dear mommy im your little boy and so is martin but not teddy" lmao now i always call my sister teddy. Its funny how he looked for unconditional love and he always had it with teddy.

  • This movie makes me cry more than Titanic.

  • Good movie but soooooo sad...

  • did Teddy just have batteries shoved up his butt?

  • Did he die at the end?:'(

  • @annieWUV No. David would go on forever. He had just developed such detailed human qualities that he learned how to dream.

  • @annieWUV Really? You sat through the whole movie and that's the only question you could come up with? Short answer is NO!

  • i cried at the end when he saw his mommy again

  • I remember watching this as a child and not be able to finish it because it was so sad. Now i'm back for round 2.

  • @butterscheese I remember watching this as a child at night and it was one of my favorite ones but now I found it back. I feel like watching it with my younger self. :P

  • I just love this movie. its so sad but also just so good! its a must see.

  • @PragmaticProminence- troll harder

  • i never rely cry at movies, i usaly just feel the sorrow but no tears form... this film is the first film that made me cry my eyes out.

  • forget about it:

    ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE= HUMANS> an electro-bio-chemical machine!

THE ULTIMATE MACHINE I would say!

Now the "BIG" question would be : who the fuck made us?!

    ...

  • I had forgotten about this movie, and then a few years ago i kept thinking about the blue fairy and the boy wanting to be with his mom, and finally i had found it again, i love this movie, it shows the true love a child for his/her mother, and that all you need in life is love

  • dude you rock!!!

  • I am a Boy. I do not cry. I just cried. But in the end he was happy... So I am happy. :)

  • Kubrick surely would have been disappointed with this film...I'm just sayin

  • @PragmaticProminence Who are you to say Stanley Kubrick would have been disappointed with this movie, did you know him personally? Granted this would have turned out a much greater movie had he been at the helm of production but this is not a terrible movie. Now be gone and take your pretentiousness with you.

  • *Intelligently designed to be a resource* All things, yes even mankind*...Don't make it harder to understand than it already is. I swear some people can talk all day for nothin.

  • thank you for this movie! it's one of my favourite movie, and now i can watch it in youtube! how cool is that!!?? thanks!

  • Sex with robots really...that must be the worst lay of all time...who you foolin

  • @PragmaticProminence I can't tell if your trolling or just retarded

  • Worst mother of all time...not even close

  • Who would want a robot for a child? Children aren't toys lol...Epic failure

  • Thank you so much for uploading this.

  • CHRIST TUCKER

  • @DaSuPaDuPaAzN that wasnt chris tucker. it was chris rock.

  • this is such a depressingly beautiful movie

  • ur the best

  • Even though this is a mother son story it reminds me of how much I miss my Dad. When we were kids we used to play hide and go seek and other games together, & go fishing. We used to take naps together. Then on November just a few weeks before my 10th birthday my Father died. We had his funeral just before my birthday. When I blew out the candles I wished he'd come home. Growing up without a father made me feel incomplete, watching other sons with their dads it made me feel like I wasn't real.

  • @crazydavesemporium - atleast, it sounds like you have a beautiful memory of your father.

  • @crazydavesemporium awhh, sorry for your loss.

  • @crazydavesemporium This made my eyes water. Just remember that he don't suffer, he's in peace. He's still alive in your heart and mind.

  • Im sorry to read your father had passed when you were young, That must have been painful. I hope and pray he rests in peace forever. I am lucky I have both parents, but when I hear of stories like yours, it makes me grateful for what I have. So in many a sense, your father left a gift to the world to remind us, that the ones we love, as well as our very selves will and must leave this world one day. At least you know you are real :) more real than I am.

  • Oh great, I just made it out of Hatchi`s movie, and now this. I cant stop the tears. ="(

  • The thing I hate most about this movie, is that the kids who were responsible for David's reaction when poked with a knife, didn't say shit after David pulled his brother into the pool.

  • i almost cried, a great movie...one of the best movies i have ever seen..even my fiance enjoyed this....thanks so much for posting this video :')

  • how did you get this all on youtube?

  • so sad movie

  • when you wish upon a star...

  • I love this movie.

  • I'll brake, David...ow.

  • 9:30 Loooool, the painting on the wall, the emperors new clothes, not too obvious . It's a shame Speilberg never did anything decent after Duel.

  • Typical surface philosophy, i expect this film to have a character say 'why are your eyes leaking?'. The technology already looks old fashioned, shame we never got to see Kubriks version, since he spent ages making the shit that was 'eyes wide shut'.

  • this is so sad....i LOVE teddy. i reallly do love him. i wish i had a friend like him

  • I want that phone...

  • great movie love it=,(

  • I love how they're still wearing 90's clothing...

  • @shoeberrypie Everything goes in circles. Very soon we all go back to deerskinz...

  • @rapidelete I want us to go back to wearing culottes; not the modern female pants-that-look-like-skirts, but the breeches men wore back in the 1600s - 1700s. Those pants were awesome!

  • Omg I've been looking for this movie.. Thank you!

  • So should have finished with him underwater with none of that sci fi speilburg schmaltz tacked on to the end

  • What time frame does this movie take place? 22nd century? Or sooner?

  • Wow, this is great! The full movie in HD for free....lol.

  • unconditional love, we all seek it, david finally got it, then closed his eyes and went to sleep forever. pure poetry.

  • @Alexthebug1 imdb.com/name/nm0005286/

    Here he is :P

  • That was so sad. I have cried and still am crying now. it was so beautiful!

  • Agreed. The New Definition of Depression, heartache, and "why the hell is this so damn tear jerking!?!?" is all in this movie.

  • Thanks for uploading. This movie has so much meaning. Quite sad for the lovemech, he was charming indeed.

  • this movie really shows how fucked up and ignorant humans are, the robots were more loving...

  • @Rolo8942

You do realize it's a movie? I's not reality, it's fiction designed for your programming. Apparently it's working well...

  • @Rolo8942 mate you missed the point of this film

  • @soolerman i know what its about im just stating the truth

  • i love that freaking teddy bearrrr <3

  • Loved the movie. Should make everyone consider that what we have is special and that our time is but an instant in the grand scheme of things. We are vulnerable and needy and we are blessed to feel the first gift. How do you like your coffee?
