6:50. Putting a snatch strap or tow rope on the tow ball is very dangerous mate. If that ball snaps off, (which has happened a few times with fatal outcomes) it will fly like a missile into the rear of the recovery vehicle, potentally injuring or worse to the occupants. Always use the recovery points.

@rbrtvcs Yeah your right. In my town "Geraldton" last year a girl got one in the throat and died right in front of her kids. I know your not ment to do it, but he had no other recovery points and thats why i only tried to tow him out and not use the snatch to it's full limits. Tow ball had about 3 tone limit and the snatch 8 tones, I'm no fool :). If he had the right recovery point there i would have pulled him off easy.

great vid guys. was up there in december of 2010 when they had a freak storm and it filled their part of the river completely in half a day:) will post a vid of what the drive in was like. short but sweet. will get my mate to post a vid response on here of what this same course looked like when he went around it :/
