This is one of the best games ever played in SC in over 10 years. Graphics arent that good but the game itself is so intense.

It is a shame and speaks for the flaws of todays games and the gamer scene that this game has in 2 years only 21k clicks and SC2 games get 200k in 2 weeks. :(

@Smaschge starcraft2 is awesome its unfair to be mad that the new game is more popular if they are both great games. people who are new to the game will naturally gravitate to the new of the 2. i am 1 of those people and because the new game is so awesome iv searched out the old legendary games. i think the more people love sc2 the more games like this will matter, so dont get mad :D

@ihaveyourcrayola That doesn't show macro and micro, just epic. Warcraft 3 has less units so there are 2v2s and it even becomes a mess, sometimes.

@ihaveyourcrayola There used to be 2v2 play in proleague but they stopped it for some reason, I imagine for a similar reason to what minhchi1211 said. They were enjoyable to watch every now and again, but usually you saw one good player with a decent enough other player because they needed a zerg and another player, and usually only one of the two was anything special. And they'd be over fast, because you'd see fast pressure, dual elimination, and then a small 1v1 with the surviving players.

Island maps are imba terran

Terran can float buildings to other places, whereas Protoss and Zerg have to wait until they get drop. Terran are just so more mobile on island maps.

This is why many modern maps with an island have a single mineral patch blocking you from landing a command center until you can drop an SCV to mine it (they are usually only 8 minerals). Only THEN you can build (or float) a CC.

usually most islands are small, and u cant do that. (like python upper right and lower left expos) and even so, terran has to go to top of tech tree to get dropships while zerg and toss can get shuttles quickky

He means, drop the cc, and make an scv from the cc, then using it to mine, then relifting cc into position, not via dropships.

technically, if joyo did some dt drop in boxer's two bases in the early game, that would be a lot of truble for boxer. considering he had several obs in boxer's bases and he did see boxer had gone for mass gls whereas had just two sensor towers, a mass dt drop should be his reasonable first try at least.

that might have ended the would-be epic game quite quickly and miserably for boxer...

FYI Boxer hasn't won a major tournament since 2002, but he has a lot of 2-3, and got to a semi in one league in 2006
