  • '05 Avo's had 280 horsies.

  • @carsamerican

It's people like who make Gm ford n chrysler bankrupt, these american junk metal shit craps are like 1st world war gabbage cheap useless tanks which block the roads, and pollute the environment. Learn from Toyota, they are number one auto maker and get respect from the world.

  • @TheAmericanmoroccan LOL sorry about that, I'm just tired of hearing and seeing people say the same thing

  • Agree with khunt 2011 idea without the profanity.

  • Why do people always compare cars it ANNOYING get over, Some of you Lame Ass Hyundai owners are miserable that you bought a car that you dont like, you only bought it just to prove a point that hyundai is better than toyota and those are not and will never be better than toyota. Also Hyundais line-up is fucking confusing as hell they have three fucking mid-size cars which is pointless as hell, thats how you can tell hyundai is desperate TOYOTA will always and forever BE THE MOST RELIABLE #1 CAR

  • @khunt2011 Every car can be reliable when you took care of car. I had a neighbor who dumped Sienna van which he bought used due to transmission, engine, and alternator failures. It is no surprising that import drivers are surely arrogant making that kind comment.

  • i thot that this programm was dead in 2001 or something like that .. lol

  • Avalon vs. Equus? Are you out of your mind? MAYBE Avalon vs. V6 Genesis.

  • good job guys keep up thanx for the video i was searching for a long time for 2011 avalon vids peace........... :)

  • cant stand this guys voice!

  • Dealers have been shown the 2013 Avalon at Dealer meetings, and were impressed by it's aggressive new styling. Expect it by early 2013

  • I know a guy with one of those on some nice 20 inch wheels... changes the whole look of the car looks hella sweet.

The interoir of this car is nice and its so smooth and its well built. Sometimes hard to believe its a Toyota.

  • busy dash?

  • this thing is sexy.

  • the new 2013 is coming, based on the people who saw the car already. they claimed that the new Avalon borrowed style cues from the Audi A7 and Jaguar XJ. and has the interior of a new Lexus.. cant wait to see it in the showrooms in 2012.

  • Hyundai way better

  • @MrMauiboy89 _________Better at what? Making cheap interiors, engines that sound like chain saws, and covering them in stylish bodywork??

  • It couldn't be more boring.

  • The Japanese Crown Victoria.

  • Some say it is a poor man Lexus others say it is a wise man Lexus.

  • Buy a Camry its cheaper and more fun...

  • @soyntgo4it I totally agree. I currently drive a avalon myself but I wanna get a camry next.

  • you can buy a toyota camry and avalon with the price of the hyundai equus, why was this car considered to be a contender?

  • That's a beautiful car. My family has owned nothing but Toyotas for years and they've all been completely reliable. Nothing can beat Toyota.

  • they forgot the 2004 avalon

  • Toyota Avalon looks too old. We should import the Crown or Mark X to replace the Avalon.

  • It's a poor mans Lexus IMO.... Just another old mans car... The new Lacrosse looks younger and fresher and the interior is MUCH better IMO. Oh and it's made by an American owned company... For me (an American) that's where I'll spend my money.

  • I still with the reliable, faster, sexier, spaceship look alike yet confortable 2011 hyundai sonata turbo cuz I want to kick avalon ass haha or camry dont matter.

  • The new inside looks really bad, the long dashboard from the earlier models became a staple for the Avalon. :/

  • hyundai Equus competes with the Avalon???? u mean the genesis

  • @jvrdlc

I agree. They Hyundai Equus more competes with the BMW 7-series, Audi A8, and Lexus LS series. The Avalon more compares with Nissan Maxima, Buick LaCrosse, and Ford Taurus.

  • @jvrdlc

Add one more comparison to the list, Chrysler 300 (V6 edition).

  • @jvrdlc thats what i though too!... The Equas its not even close to this!

  • Who the fuck Needs a pricey ass car... toyota's avalon seems like a reasonable price...

  • Diving and Bad Brakes is Toyotas favorite..........here to stay forever.

  • John Davis, it competes with the Genisis, not the Equs.

  • I'd take the LaCrosse any day over this bland thing.

  • Super great car even though it's long overdue for an actual makeover and not just an update to the 2005 model. Oh and all you Taurus and Buick lovers out there remember that you are really comparing your 2011 model cars to this "2005" remake and the Avalon is still better......except for the dated exterior of course.

  • Um...There are 9 airbags...I count them like every day lol.

  • So sexy

  • motortrend rated 0-60 6 flat.

  • really tired how reviewers keep noting the recalls, without reporting that NHTSA actually reported in July that, so far, over 80% of acceleration complaints where found to be driver error and not due to faulty pedals or electronics issues. When NHTSA engineers last Feb actually could not replicate customers' complaints of sticking pedals, they were not called to testify.

Actually, Toyota still has the highest dependability (long term reliability) ratings, for more models, than any other make.

  • nah... I'll take the Taurus

  • @steverooni99

Malibu was German designed. German roads are narrow so Malibu is narrow.

  • 2000 avalon 330k miles, still running strong. never changed anything harder than timing belt.

  • @canoeshoe Yeah boss, im 19 and i drive a 2000 Avalon XLS 182,000km on it in Canada. And i can geniuinely say i would never give it up. Rock solid, quiet, plush. My dream car :)

  • @ArslanYork i have a 97 Avalon XLS 112K n runs perfect too.. wish i can get the 2011 tho

  • @ArslanYork the 2000-2004 seems more solidly built than the 2005 and up models. I don't know, I tested the new one before my brother purchased it but it doesn't feel the same. The "umppph" is missing in the build quality for the newer vehicles.

  • @canoeshoe 2004 Mustang GT 381,576 miles and it still dynoed at 372HP and didn't even change the timing belt! On 91 octane with 19MPG

  • @stang46281 How the heck you put that much miles on a 2004 car. Did you drive it around the world or what. LOL

  • it was re-fined so much, love this ride, features is new,and quality is good

  • Have a 2006 model and it continues to be a great car. Would buy again...

  • So good its boring.

  • شي جميل

  • Oh, John!!! 62 is NOT old & you know it!!!

  • I think the front of this car is so ugly....maybe more so than the Acura tl

  • toyotas look like space ships, Id rather go w honda, and the last generation of this car was way nicer

  • Awesome car. Took a bite out of Detroit and Koreans failed miserably in copying it.

    Good job Toyota!

  • @dougdangger Toyota reliability? Look up door fires on TOYOTA vehicles on google search.

  • I think Toyota styling is boring. anyway this is a nice product :)

  • I had the chance to drive a '11 model. Wow...quiet, powerful and comfortable with rear leg room like I've not see before!

  • Don't forget about sticky pedal!

  • @kenneykole

    Don't forget your breakfast. JK.

  • Another household appliance disguised as a car...will the real auto companies please stand up!

  • Oh man, there is absolutely nothing attractive about this car. I like the Venza though, it sort of has a muscular look to it. The new Sienna is a disaster as well I've heard. I don't know what Toyota is doing.

  • i think this car is not bad if you want more of a large family sedan with some luxury feature sedan, and great reliability. If sportiness performance and more styling is important to you, then look somewhere else. the genesis is also a great sedan but i wouldn't call it sporty though. it's a bit soft unlike the bmw 3 series.

  • that is the worst car in its segment

  • AHHH... yet another boat-on-wheels by Toyota.

  • these too under recall

  • They made it look the same as the last generation which automatically makes it look old and out dated! What where they thinking?

  • Idk how I feel about the car, but the vintage commercials are sweet.

  • Aww !! Makes me puke what Toyota is doing lately with their line of cars !! Thumbs DOWN !!

  • Even with the updates to the exterior, it looks outdated. It is painfully bland to look at, and not as practical as the other cars in its class (IE...no folding rear seats). Toyota should drop this model from their lineup entirely.

  • this car looks hilarious being thrown around the cones lol....

  • Typical BORING toyota...I fell asleep watching this car drive in the video...

I swear Toyota could not build an exciting TOYOTA if they tried their hardest.

Not to mention this is way over price. You can get a Genesis Sedan, Taaurs and Lacross for the same money, and they are all 10 times better looking ,more fun to drive and better. Fuck you Toyota, you dsevere to be where you are

  • @davewhodavedunn I agree with EVERYTHING you just said. Sadly though, American LOVE big slow land yachts.

  • @davewhodavedunn

Why would you want a sports car? To hit a pedestrian? You sick bastard you want to hit poor pedestrians. Dangerous criminals like you should be locked up in maximum security ASAP.

  • Damn that new Avalon looks good

  • Nice, but I like Lacrosse, Taurus and Genesis.

  • Most people thinking of a Toyota don't even realize the Avalon even exists until they see it on the lot.

  • @DocWolph I know huh? toyota is really great company... why do you think a lot of ppl have toyota these days in the US? because of their durability, reliability and great gas mileage. Why do i want to waste Tons of money for a car? you know LOL!

  • @pjtart agree, its very pricey FWD car.

  • nothin special

  • Id prefer the buick

  • @p10ghost

I liked the Buick too until my parents neighbor's LaCrosse mysteriously disappeared at the beginning of the summer and then it reappeared a few weeks ago or so I thought. The original died and spent 2 months being checked out by GM and they could not fix it so they had to give the neighbors a brand new one and that is having a problem now. The other neighbor's Taurus seems to be doing well though.

  • @venom5809 well, i think id still take any buick over any toyota.

  • @p10ghost ill take the buick or the tarus

  • The Taurus or Genesis are definitely better than this car its like its in a time warp it hasnt improved at all since 2005 but it has gotten more expensive.

  • Psst. It's Avalon :)
