Argh, I just can't get over Karen's talent. She was so amazing. I wish she didn't have to go home so soon ;( Does anyone else have the strange sense I do when looking at Karen here that she just wants to break down crying at any given moment? Could just be me and how I feel when I see her like this...but does anyone else sense this?

Even though she was so painfully thin here..look at the joy in Karen's face during this (especially during her drum solo, she truly loved them) she looked like she was having such a blast and in her element doing this number unlike Richard who looks lost (especially at the end)

This is the kind of talent that qualifies legends of their time. The fact that many of us look back to truly enjoy Richard's arrangements, keyboard and harmony-hearing abilities, combined with an extraordinary "Karen" voice is indescribable...as a few of you regular, long term followers know. And for those of you that have indeed performed on stage, you've got to recognize the energy it takes to do what they accomplished.

LOL, we actually debated this several years ago at Ran's now-gone Carpenters board. It sure sounds like a burp, but it's more likely Richard's than Karen's. It was probably inserted as a joke -- or as a wacky Spike Jones touch (Richard admired him) -- to see if anyone would notice.

Amazing how Karen's singing voice sounds so different than her speaking voice. Her speaking voice is high and rather shrill....her singing voice is low and sultry.
