Very interesting concept. But, I think you may want to stop using colorwave - I've seen that name before and you may be infringing on someone else's trademark. Be careful.
@sethy1 The Arduino is a great place to start in microcontrollers. Just google "Arduino Duemilanove", and you'll get tons of results from what it is, to how to build one, to one already made(I bought one pre-made for about $30. Not bad for all that it can do).

These LEDs have 2 pins? the color is controled by PWM?

PWM yes, the LEDs have 4 pins, one common anode pin, 3 cathodes, 1 cathode per color
