Was in DC for Memorial Day weekend incl Arlington National Cemetery, 1st time ever 4 this old Marine. Each and every year that goes by MD just becomes more valuable and would humbly like to submit the powerful words to Taps: Day is done, gone the sun, From the hills, from the lake, From the skies. All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.
Thank you my protectors. Thank you for giving your country, your nation, your people your last full mesure of devotion. May you rest in peace, and may your familes be comforted my the Almighty God. Thank you.
This playing is beautiful. It is a chilling tune that wretches my heart every time I hear it. I was on the Army Funeral Detail. It's so hard to carry a fellow buddy and fight tears back looking at their family. I had a mother come up to me and hug me and it was so hard to stand.....I held her and we cried. God bless every soldier, marine, airman, and seaman who has given their life to a cause more noble than themselves. RIP brothers and sisters, you may be gone but never forgotten.
Semper fi to lance cpl Chad Clifton rest in peace lil brother ill see you one day and we will both guard the streets of heaven like all marines do when we retire
This bugle call sends chills down my back everytime and makes me cry when I hear it. I know a few people whi died in Iraq. I wnt to a couple military funerals. They played Taps at the funerals.
South Carolina State Trooper Jonathan Nash was laid to rest today. He was killed in the line of duty while on a memorial ride for yet another fallen trooper.
Trooper Nash served our Beloved Corp with distinction from 1986 through 1993, and saw combat during Operation "Desert Storm."
we salute the fallen heroes who wer the first line of defence and that the r gone but not forgotten. it is the men and women who give them selves for others. its the few the proud the marines

Incredible, how one instrument can create such an atmosphere. Kind of spooky, but at the same time impressive.
